Please, by all means dispute their facts in the story, if you can. Otherwise, stop trying to emulate Trump on this thread, who would've trashed it before reading it too.

ZeroHedge is a batshit site.
This is widely known.

Trump is batshit crazy.
This is widely known.

However Zero hedge posts the actual news, rather than wait for the government's official response. Their predictions of the market are batshit for the most part, but all market analysis is, best to stick with their news, which isn't tainted like mainstream media and as proof of that remark i present you with a disclaimer of sorts that arrived on their website today.

Tyler Durden for Zero Hedge wrote:Over the weekend, Russia's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov created quite a stir when he announced that the independent Swiss state Spiez lab said that Sergei Skripal, a former Russian double agent, and his daughter Yulia, were poisoned with an incapacitating toxin known as 3-Quinuclidinyl benzilate, or simply BZ, adding that while the toxin was never produced in Russia, it was in service in the US, UK and other NATO states.
Image
However, as RT reports, Andreas Bucher, Spiez Laboratory’s strategy and communications head, told TASS on Monday, that:

“We cannot have any statement on that...”

“We are contractually bound to the OPCW for confidentiality. So, the only institution that could confirm what Mr. Lavrov was saying is the OPCW. We cannot confirm or deny anything.”

As we noted previously, the Swiss lab is also an internationally recognized center of excellence in the field of the nuclear, biological, and chemical protection and is one of the five centers permanently authorized by the OPCW.

And yet the Swiss lab in a letter to RT states:

Spiez Labs wrote:OPCW does not disclose the identity of designated labs that contribute to OPCW activities. These labs are also bound by secrecy agreements. These arrangements exist to ensure the integrity of the analysis and results provided by the designated labs.

Imho, these arrangements are strictly so bullshit politics and propaganda can continue to rear their ugly heads, in a world that's filled to the brim with them already.

At least on Zero Hedge you can find the important news worthy events occurring worldwide, unlike any of our mainstream news sources, here, or abroad. For news the internet is our savior.

It's cute the way you work Trump into every reply.
Why is that?
It's your tell.

When minds wish to debate whilst emulating the guy with orange hair and skin, i try to humor them. Why do you do that and then disparage him regularly?

Absolutely, in fact a little dab will improve driving skills in most cases.

Drivers who test positive for the presence of THC in blood are no more likely to be involved in motor vehicle crashes than are drug-free drivers, according to a federally sponsored case-control study involving some 9,000 participants. The study, published Friday by the United States National Highway Traffic Administration (NHTSA), is the first large-scale case-control study ever conducted in the United States to assess the crash risk associated with both drugs and alcohol use by drivers.

Authors reported that drivers who tested positive for any amount of THC possessed an unadjusted, elevated risk of accident of 25 percent (Odds Ratio=1.25) compared to controls (drivers who tested negative for any drug or alcohol). However, this elevated risk became insignificant (OR=1.05) after investigators adjusted for demographic variables, such as the drivers’ age and gender. After researchers controlled for both demographic variables and the presence of alcohol, THC-positive drivers’ elevated risk of accident was zero.

Another study. It just keeps coming.
Not that statistics or science has any meaningful significance to the dusty old twats of Channels.

When we unpack all the rhetoric it's really simple, you advocate for driving while impaired...I don't.

I don't drive impaired either. Don't crow about being a safer more responsible driver when it isn't true. It just isn't.
This isn't my opinion. It's factual.

Where/when have I “crowed” about my driving skills?

If you where to be intellectually honest and research sites other than pro-pot advocacy venues perhaps go to NHTSA directly you could see for yourself that at best the question is unsettled and not “factual”.
Again you have your opinion and I have mine, mine however is tempered by experience, sadly.

Don't you mean Friday February 6th 2015?

Old Fart wrote:Unbelievable. Attack the source, the one you asked for.

C&P'ed just now from NHTSA

NHTSA’s Crash Risk Study, the largest of its kind ever conducted, assessed whether marijuana use by drivers is associated with greater risk of crashes. The survey found that marijuana users are more likely to be involved in crashes, but that the increased risk may be due in part because marijuana users are more likely to be in groups at higher risk of crashes. In particular, marijuana users are more likely to be young men – a group already at high risk. NHTSA is conducting another crash risk study, however; this time, only serious injury and fatal crashes will be investigated.
We know that marijuana can be dangerous when combined with driving. Studies show that marijuana impairs psychomotor skills, lane tracking, and cognitive functions (Robbe et al., 1993; Moskowitz, 1995; Hartman & Huestis, 2013), but it is still unclear the extent to which it contributes to the occurrence of vehicle crashes. Some studies have attempted to estimate the risk of driving after marijuana use (Li et al., 2012; Asbridge et al., 2012), but these remain inconclusive in terms of predicting real-world crash risk.

I read inconclusive as unsettled, as stated.

You can find it yourself with minimal effort.

Laura Vozzella for the Washington Post wrote:“The Syrian regime has repeatedly used chemical weapons,” a State Department official, who discussed the matter on the condition of anonymity because she was not authorized to do so publicly, said in an email. “Russian and regime denials have no credibility, nor does the increasingly offensive and outrageous Russian propaganda accusing the US and the UK of planning and executing CW attacks in order to justify retaliation in Syria. . . . The White Helmets are a humanitarian organization that has saved thousands of lives and continues to respond to bombardments by Russian and regime military forces.”"

Gee, a Va. state senator isn't to be believed, but an anonymous state department employee is, it appears. The Washington Post is blocks away from the State Dept's headquarters and has been for decades, but poor Laura could only find an anonymous employee, not authorized to speak publicly, for her 'report'. Kinda shows this regime is coming apart at the seams, it seems.

A little over two years earlier the same reporter wrote about this very same Va. state senator.
Laura Vozzella wrote:RICHMOND — After Virginia state Sen. Richard H. Black popped up in Damascus this spring, shaking hands with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the reaction was swift and cutting.

“Dangerously clueless,” Democrats said. “Ignorant” of Assad’s brutality, said the White House. Even fellow Republicans cracked jokes.

In the month since, the Northern Virginia legislator, who regards Assad as a protector of Syrian Christians and a buffer against Islamic extremism, has been on the receiving end of something else: invitations.

Black (R-Loudoun) has been asked to speak, alongside congressmen and a senior State Department official, at a Washington forum on energy and foreign policy. To attend a reception, as the guest of a Jewish constituent, at the Israeli Embassy. To hold Skype sessions with Middle East interest groups. To address a couple of hundred Syrian expats in Boston.

“There’s definitely a lot of interest in hearing what I have to say about Syria,” Black said. “I think it’s pretty clear to people that they’re not getting the straight scoop from their government, and they’re interested in hearing factual information about what’s actually going on.”

Black’s late-April meeting with Assad continues to reverberate, raising and expanding the profile of a man who for years had been known for a single anti-abortion stunt: He was the guy who once mailed tiny plastic fetuses to fellow legislators. Now, he’s the local legislator who had a two-hour sit-down with Assad, a dictator the Obama administration says unleashed chemical weapons on his own people.

Democrats see his trip as a tin-eared political caper, one that reinforces the notion that Black is not just outside the mainstream but also a little nutty.

Now I'll have to roll some silly eyes on this forum, since, zero hedge wrote about this fellow nearly six months before Laura's diatribe.
Tyler Durden, for Zero Hedge wrote:Like Tulsi, Dick knows a thing or two about war and about the Mid-East. Here's a bit from his official bio:

He enlisted in the Marines in 1963. By age 21, Black became a second lieutenant and was among the Marines' youngest aircraft carrier-qualified pilots. He flew 269 combat helicopter missions in Vietnam. Ground fire struck his aircraft on four different occasions.

Black also engaged in bitter ground combat with the 1st Marine Regiment. His radiomen were killed and he was wounded during an attack against enemy positions across the Hoi An River. Black served in small-unit actions where two fellow Marines--PFC Gary Martini and SSgt. Jimmie Howard--won the Medal of Honor. While in office, he was the only member of the Virginia General Assembly who held the Purple Heart Medal for wounds received in battle.

Dick left the Marines to attend the University of Florida. There, he was twice elected to the Student Senate. He graduated with honors from the School of Business in 1973 and earned a law degree in 1976. He practiced law in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, before accepting a commission as a Major in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG).

Black headed the Army's Criminal Law Division at the Pentagon. He developed Executive Orders for the President's signature, and laws that were enacted by Congress. He advised senior government officials on issues of national significance. He testified before the U.S. Congress, representing the U.S. Army, on four occasions.

I know many here will believe the Post's version over Zero Hedge, but i only read the Post's comics, because Bezos news is no news, in the know, whatsoever. As manipulative, as CNN, Fox, and the rest of our mainstream media and for good reason, their being paid handsomely for it! Only a regime would allocate such wrath on it's own people and still hammer home, 'but at least you're still free'.

Freedom isn't free, but is quite fleeting if no one is paying attention.

Does Mueller have Donnie's tiny little balls clenched in his fist? Should I start looking at property in New York State? Is there hope for America? Can this huge mistake be rectified? I think all but the last are possible.
