I lived across the street from a school sniper in 1974 so I've been on the receiving end and witnessed 3 killed and 9 injured in that incident. It pales compared to some events before and since. Obviously murderous people are a part of life so we're definitely making it easier for them to act out those impulses. Yanks see it as part of the cost of "freedom" yall.

I'm not surprised the SCOTUS gave police more opportunity to avoid paying for the consequences of their actions. Police traditionally get preferential benefit of the doubt treatment from juries.
