It's OK for him to be so mentally ill that he wants to kill himself but not OK that he could actually do it.

The US is fucked up. Britain is fucked up. We've fallen asleep and woken in The High Castle.

The anglo empire is crumbling on both sides of our pond and this is what it feels like. Not fun feeling neo liberalism come home to roost in both our countries. The EU just signed a trade pact with China, where do you believe that leaves the both of us? The u.s. is pissed and appears to be posturing for war against other nations, perhaps trying to instigate another ww? In the vain hope of recharging their economy to the same level as after wwII. However, america no longer has the industrial strength it had back then, nor does it have the same military might. They're fucked and they haven't realized it yet.

As for Assange, even free where can he go and be safe, anymore? Even with a full presidential pardon he'd always have to watch his back, anyway.
