Seems medicare for all is a popular 'movement' amongst the people lately and why not with this p[l]andemic occurring? T'would seem like an extremely ripe moment for democrats to seize the moment for their constituents, but as Jimmy Dore shows below the dumos only work for their donors, because corporations are people too. Thirteen minute video showing how AOC loses her committee seat and why.
AOC loses her committee position to another rightist democrat after the rightist democrat threatened to not vote for Pelosi unless she got the committee position.
Medicare for all in america wouldn't be much of an improvement, however. We need to get rid of 'health insurance' altogether. There is no such thing as for profit healthcare. And unbeknownst to many americans, when you have any kind of health insurance, your doctor is no longer working for you. The doctor is required to follow the insurance company's protocols, which might not be particularly best for you, but will save the insurance company money. If they lose their patient, their protected from being sued and there's plenty more where that last one came from.
We need to not only get lawyers out of the doctoring business we need to make it possible to sue lawyers and the partnerships they work for, for malpractice. That should be for both defense and prosecutors, with prosecutors required to have insurance too, not taxpayer dollars. Unfortunately, getting either party to do something for the people appears to be as unreachable as it's ever been.

I don't think we'll see Medicare for all but we might see Medicare as a public option for health insurance. Biden wants to keep private insurance around. I'm just wondering if the individual mandate is back on the table for Bidencare? I hope not.

I would hope not also. The fact the feds have stripped health from health care makes enforcing private insurance on folks a criminal act, imo.
Private insurance is much like private banking, it's meant to enrich the wealthy, whilst plundering the lower classes.

Months into his presidency and still nothing on ridiculous health insurance costs. The Democrats will just continue to make things worse.
You're right, alpha, health insurance just enriches a few select companies and CEO's. Our health care system is broken. It's all to do with money and little to do with health.
