Perhaps a party the working folks in this country can get behind?
The People's Party
Re: The People's Party
Nice alpha, thanks.
I registered.

Re: The People's Party
My wife did too.
Not sure how well a non-populist party will float in Okieland though.
Mostly descendants of the "Appalachian" culture around here apparently.
Lots of tiny towns and agriculture.
The Appalachian culture was a melting pot of distinctively ornery folks.
Absolutely determined to not have any rules or overlords. Generally poor, and suspicious of education.
"Rich" people were educated and not to be trusted.
Historically solved things with fighting, violence and religion. An absolute bonanza for some populist mind fucking manipulation.
I know I am painting with broad strokes, and there are many progressive types and indigenous cultures here, but this bunch in Oklahoma is generally characterized by the dislike of “ outsiders" and new stuff.
Anyone or anything different is perceived as a threat or a sinful act.
I'd like to see what this group could do nationally though.
