Here is an outstanding piece of journalism by the Washington Post. They began tracking police killings in 2015. Since then, 5,400 (and counting) have been killed by the police!
When will this madness end? Isn't it time to take guns away from cops unless their is an active shooter loose?
Here is the story:

But be warned, it is rather long. It will take a few minutes to read but it is worth it.
Oh, and Bo and Rudy, the Washington Post agrees with me. They count the whites at 60% of the population, not your 73% number. You can read all the numbers for yourself in the article.

Re: Police have killed 5,400 people since 2015
It's been two days since I posted this and 1,000 people are killed by the police every year. That's almost 3 deaths per day. Wonder who else has been killed by the cops that didn't receive national media attention?
All lives matter.
All lives matter.

There have been 7 deaths at the hands of cops since Rayshard Brooks and 25 deaths altogether since the beginning of June, none of which you have heard about.
The latest is Andres Guardado, an 18 year old boy killed in California by cops. There were no protests for him, no burning buildings, no looting.

Quit using such complicated words. I had to google cognitive dissonance. Wow, thanks to you I learned something new today.
I'm sure you realize your post was in cognitive dissonance to the thread title. Maybe try posting something to do with cop killings next time.

Re: Police have killed 5,400 people since 2015
We've had another police killing.
James Garcia is his name. It happened in Phoenix, Arizona.
Officers squeezed off at least 10 rounds at him while he sat in a parked car.
Never even made the national news. He wasn't black enough for the media. I guess all lives don't matter.
You can read about it here on the police killings link:

Yeah, it was all over the news right after it happened.
Even started some protests.
They must not have covered it on your Britebart or Qanon network.

I don't even know what you're talking about. I had to google those things. So much for your assumption.

This little article from TIME magazine sums it up nicely for me.
Just like the title says: Police kill too many people, white and black.

All the violence and looting and arson has curbed police brutality this year. Just look at how police killings have declined since George Floyd. Think the cops are getting the message loud and clear?

Wow!!! Police killings are really down. To start the year it was almost 90 per month. Compare that to this month where only 1 has died at the hands of police. We're getting somewhere finally. The protests paid off.
