Are you stimulated yet?

Postby Bohannon » Wed Apr 29, 8:01 pm

My sister, who lives in NY state just got her $1200.00. I think it would be ironic and fruitful to donate 10% of this windfall to politicians running against repugnican't scum (AZ, KY, CA etc.)

US: $1200 each. Flat rate. One-off. That's it.

UK (and most of Europe): 80% of your salary until this is over.

You got fucked. And it was very, very cheap.

Since this post, we've got another $600 and it looks like another $1,400 is on the way in March. That brings the total to $3,200 in less than a year.

And don't forget the additional unemployment boost in benefit payments. Nobody is getting fucked, Dazzler!! People out of work, some of them, are drawing more NOT working!! LOL!!

I'm not out of work!! Covid didn't cost me my job, so anything I get is just gravy. I've got $1,800 for doing nothing!

People out of work are drawing unemployment benefits PLUS an additional $300 per week. So people out of work are drawing $1,200 a month MORE in addition to their regular unemployment deposit. Many people are drawing MORE than their regular pay because most people out of work due to covid were in low paying jobs and don't have the option of working from home.

Nobody is getting screwed. Did I spell it out simple enough for you? So, to review, people that lost their jobs are recdiving unemployment benefits PLUS an additional $300 per week currently. Biden's plan will raise the additional benefit to $400 per week in addition to their state's weekly unemployment check!! That's alot of money for just sitting on your ass!

Anybody got their stimulus deposit yet?
I'm still waiting on mine.

How are you gonna spend it??

This brings the total to $3,200!!!
Hopefully Biden will roll out another stimulus package by year's end.

Does he remotely sound like a libertarian? Does he sound remotely grounded with the politics swirling around him?

If one doesn't own their own home they're screwed and even the ones that do are going to have to pay ever increasing property taxes. America's landlord system is going to look a lot like Europe's very soon and rents aren't going to be affordable for many. Neo liberalism hasn't many places left to plunder, so american's are going to learn the hard way how neo liberalism really works, as it's come home to roost. Real unemployment here is twenty six percent. The gov't only includes those collecting benefits, once they run their limited benefits out, their employed again, whether they've found a job, or not. Since our federal reserve has printed over $13 trillion dollars, over the past year alone and added it into circulation we can expect to see hyper inflation, as the dollar tanks to record lows, lower than the record low it is now.

About what one could expect from a country that ditched industrial capitalism, for financial capitalism, which here is all mirrors, with little smoke. How is it on your side of the pond? City of London showing y'all any more mercy than ours?

Yep, I think this will be the final government handout.
But I'll take free government money anytime I can get it.
$3,200 in a year's time isn't bad tho.
I sure hope the Dems and Biden hand another one out late in the year. I could sure use some more FREE car payments.

Still haven't got mine either.

My $1,400 is showing up as a pending deposit. According to the IRS get my payment tool I'll get my money Wednesday. So now my next six car payments are taken of.
And now I'm reading where a fourth stimulus is in the talks with some Democrats. Hopefully I'll get some more car payments by the end of the year. I've just got to hope for another covid surge!!! Terrible to root for such a thing, but I could use some more car payments. What a way to pay for a car...with government money!!! LOL!!!

The Trump appointee who runs SS has been accused of slow walking payments out to tens of millions of Americans. Of course he denies it.

I suppose that direct payments to citizens might work better in the short term than setting up more complicated social programs. You eliminate the needs assessment and feasibility studies, committees, and delays that way. So perhaps this is a trend for the future. Not sure yet.

Neither my sister nor I have, as yet, received our stimulus payments. We both got the past two very promptly. We were told that the repugnican'ts tried to stop stimulus for SS recipients and that Biden had to override. Not sure if this is true but the fact remains. Because, you know, people on Social Security are getting rich off the government largesse.

I haven't heard from them in a long while. Back before the election I was getting emails and text messages all the time. Since Biden got in it's been all quiet. Don't know what happened to them. I haven't received a political correspondence from them in months.

I don't know if they are regrouping or not. They'll have to push out messages full time, even in a non election year to have success. It's politics 24/7/365 with the Democrats and Republicans, but the Libertarians just don't sit around and obsess on their party propoganda like the other two parties. Looks like they just go back to living their lives. I'll let you know when I get another email or text that updates me on where the party stands now.

My only complaint with Biden is how he is handling the border. Other than that, it's smooth sailing. The Democrats are even making a push for nationwide legalized recreational marijuana. That's something all Libertarians will support. The Democrats are doing a good job. No need to be critical all the time. I can support some of the Democrat policies.

Got an email from the Libertarians today. My first correspondence from them in ages. It has to do with gun rights and the 2nd Amendment. Not much really. Just a short YouTube video.

So, Daz, the Libertarians are still alive, just maybe on life support.

You mean U.S. Treasury stimulus?

I don't think Biden is that rich.

or do you mean the mistaken mailing to Japan was Biden's fault?

So much half truths and misinformation out there it pays to clarify.

This is completely off topic, however it's an interview that should be seen by as many folks as possible and i guarantee your blood will be stimulated by the end. The content is chilling to say the least, but should be seen by as many people as possible, which is why i post it here rather than the Bar.
Dr. Peter McCullough's reaction to Covid 19 and it's aftermath. Dr. McCullough clarifies boldly and apparently quite courageously too.
