Too bad, so sad.
I won't wear a mask unless I'm forced to.
43 pages of obituaries in the Houston Chronicle yesterday.
I think too bad so sad pretty much sums you up.

Re: Reopening
The mayor and city council passed a mandatory mask ordinance here so I am forced to wear a mask.
So much for freedom and liberty, but fascists like you probably love it.

This cognitive dissonance is really a thing I gather.

The Governor of Alabama (GOP!) mandates mask use and state primary voters (GOP!) reject Sessions by almost two-to-one.
Now all the mouth-breathing goobs gotta suit up - either that or they risk death on a large scale and the real prospect of an insufficient proto-Trumpian voter turnout.
The fucking irony is exquisite.

I don't see any irony anywhere.
I wasn't surprised Sessions lost. He's an idiot. I hope he stays out of politics. I couldn't vote as I registered as a Democrat to vote for Bernie Sanders. I will vote in November and I will vote for Tuberville, not Doug Jones. The Republicans will take back that Senate seat with Tuberville.

Suit up, Crackerbread.

I don't believe he shares common interests with our members.

How so? Amsterdam is the common interest of the board, politics is merely a side discussion. If you don't like the politics stay out of the section, it's not for the faint hearted.

It is my opinion.
I am not faint of heart, but have grown very weary of the toxic, racist garbage peddling he indulges in.
Of course this all falls under the heading of "freedom"; just like my freedom to
desire that he is gone.
He can go and trigger liberal thinkers on his local news sites and Facebook groups.

I apologize for not recognizing the severe emotional distress he has triggered in your constant back and forth bullshit with him.
Maybe bas can open a safe space section.

Have you been petitioning bas for banishment again?

Apology accepted.
A remarkably lucid analysis of the situation.

Absolutely not, but I can't hide the fact that I was overjoyed to see Bas' response. MR crossed a line with the "n" word.

Rather than removing MR how about opening the forum to some new members and perhaps we could garner better discourse? Seems like the folks you were most concerned about have since died. C'mon bas, some fresh blood!

In the past we took a poll and everyone voted whether to keep or ditch the offender. Time for another poll or just count the votes from this thread?

You don't need a button to ignore someone, and we all have friends and foes alike.
That said, if you would gang up on another and vote to banish a member because of your own in-group vanities or insecurities, you are the one who should be banned.
