I expect Trump to mobilize "his people", you know, the ones in the Brown Shirts, just before the Nov. Election.

Expect voter suppression, intimidation and violence as well.

Your boy said things will get rough cuz he's got the POLICE, MILITARY and worst of all, the BIKERS on his side. I'm sure he would have included the Charlottesville neo Nazis as well but that might have been a bit shocking no?

Even more shocking is that the charlottesvile 'police' and the virginia state 'police' were the primary cause, which allowed all of the violence that occurred that day. The alt right had a permit to assemble and protest, from the city of charlottesvllle. It was your anti fascist left that descended, weaponized upon that town and created all of the violence that occurred that day, including that kid whose car was being beaten upon by your lefties, panicked and drove into that crowd. Railroaded justice is all he received, whilst the 'police' were exonerated and excused for their extremely cowardly actions, or to be more accurate non action, by hiding in the woods, or crashing a helicopter.

Sad, but true.

Thanks for taking time out from your Caitlin Johnstone and Russia Today studies to weigh in with this trenchant commentary.

Was the only good thing that came from this event and clash of ideologies then the re-assurance that Jews
would not be replacing their white asses and the tremendous uptick in sales of tikki torches?

Maybe elsewhere, but not here in Oregon. We mail our ballots in. They have special "mail boxes" scattered about the state and you just drop the sealed envelope in without a stamp. You can also turn them in at local government office drop boxes.

Funny you should mention that. Friday morning the parking lot behind WinCo had at least 200 bikers congregated together. All wearing their "colors". No idea what their plans were, but I felt uneasy driving through their group. Sadly, there is no shortage of tRump supporters, Proud Boys, etc. up here, but at least for now, there are more Democrats in the state than Republicans.

There's no voter suppression. It's all a lie. There's no intimidation or violence either, not where I vote. It's all kosher, no one bothers anybody and that's the way it should be.

Mail in ballots are better. I signed up for absentee ballot here in NY so I can get it early from the mail, take my time looking over the selections and then sign and mail it in about a month before the election. No more getting up early and going to the firehall at 6:oo am in the cold and rain.

I take Trump seriously when he threatens regular Americans who don't support him. He's so vindictive and out of control that he'd do ANYTHING to win. Nixon was like that in 1972 and that is how he defeated McGovern in a historic landslide. McGovern was by all accounts a decent man and a progressive anti war candidate while Nixon was an odious dirty man and trickster who slandered McGovern so much the voters finally internalized it. Expect the same browbeating routine this year because it seems to work for who ever is willing to be the most despicable candidate.

I wanted so badly to vote for McGovern in that election, however anyone paying attention to it could see that McGovern would say ANYTHING to get elected. He flipped flopped so many times, on so many issues it was mind boggling. No one in their right mind would've voted for the idiot. Nixon didn't need to attack someone who was sabotaging their own campaign.

Quite a race we've had the past few elections for who's the most despicable too. Pretty much why america's in the mess it is right now.

Thanks again for your usual Fox News spin/troll routine asshole.

I was to young to vote in the 1972 election, but it taught me that if Americans have to choose between a sociopath and a socialist, they'll take the sociopath every time.

How do you remember this stuff? Was it your first time to vote in a presidential election? I don't pay much attention to any of the candidates...

I remember McGovern.
He was the great hippy hopeful.
Really vocal against our VietNam involvement too.
Wanted weed legalized.
Seemed like a decent guy too.
But we needed Nixon, military expansion and the drugwar more apparently.
Here forty years later we are just now trying to undo the damage caused by our "conservative" forefathers.
I wonder sometimes if he could have made significant
changes or have just been assassinated like Kennedy.

Does this feline remind anyone else of norks? Seems to have the same debating acumen as norks.

Cat wrote:I was to young to vote in the 1972 election, but it taught me that if Americans have to choose between a sociopath and a socialist, they'll take the sociopath every time.

I couldn't bring myself to vote for nixon either, Cat, because he'd lied about ending the Vietnam war during his first term. T'was my first time voting, because back then you could be drafted thru a lottery, but you couldn't vote, which seemed unfair, one could die for their country, but weren't considered mature enough to vote. I voted the independent party and continued to do so thru the seventies. Between electronic voting machines and the silly electoral college we don't 'vote' for anyone anyhow. They've never trusted americans voting since the founding fathers, who believed that the only citizens who should be allowed to vote were wealthy property owners.

Banks wrote:I don't pay much attention to any of the candidates...

Neither does the rest of the electorate, Banks and why should they. Every time around the choice is a neo liberal crat, or the neo liberal ican, (but shan't), where's the choice in that?
