I will be voting labour in the general election. more specifically i'll be voting for corbyn to be prime minister. I accept that we are leaving the eu, but I would rather it were done in a less abrasive and all encompassing manner. may and the tories are not the people to do that.

the c sort of works again if I bang it but the question mark is still fucked.

His populist bullshit is too much. Promising 4 extra bank holidays is such a cheap trick. The guy may be popular with the 'grassroots' but all his MP's hate him! You can't govern like that. Even when he is asked if he will step down if he gets thrashed in the election, he says no! His leadership has also been exceptionally weak through Brexit. What is his position now? What is his plan for Britain? He just seems to be constantly dawdling around the suburbs being intransigent.

Ed Miliband was a snooty prick who backstabbed his eminently more suitable brother and now you have a dithering hermit as Labour leader! Tony Blair before them! Labour are in a very bad way.

The Social Democrats should really be making hay but they just can't find it in themselves to capitalise.

The electorate still haven't forgiven the Lib Dems for selling out their principles in return for a sniff of power!

They haven't helped themselves by choosing a leader who thinks homosexuality is a sin!

I thought liberals were all for taking it up the shit pipe?

We've gone past the point of no return on Brexit, so I'll be voting Green in June!

I think we'll get a reasonable deal with the EU regardless of who's in power! ... A damaging trade war would hurt both sides!

an odd observation, the disproportionate number of the people making decisions about europe’s future are childless ......
Macron, the newly elected French president, has no children.
German chancellor Angel Merkel has no children.
British prime minister Theresa May has no children.
Italian prime minister Paolo Gentiloni has no children.
Holland’s Mark Rutte, Sweden’s Stefan Löfven, Luxembour’s Xavier Bettel, Scotland’s Nicola Sturgeon—all have no children.
Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission, has no children.

Gotta wonder if they don't see a future even bleaker than the one we're facing?

A very interesting observation.

It is concerning insofar as they may have inappropriate motivations but, at the same time, it's a little presumptious to think along those lines. They could all have very good reasons: some may be unable to have kids and others (Macron) have step children through marraige.

The Lib Dems are lying pricks with a Thatcherite religious fundamentalist homophobe at their helm. I don't anticipate the yellow dawn that many Lib Dems are predicting.

I defy anyone who voted for Brexit to look at what that inept decaying corpse is doing in Brussels and say "Yes, this is exactly what I wanted." There's a huge amount of denial in Britain at the moment.

Haha. I guess I didnt express myself very well. What im trying to get at is that I hope these people care about not just now, but the following generations.

A lot of politicians can't see long term and just roll from issue to issue, crisis to crisis.

She is a fucking scrote for sure.

Apparently part of her manifesto includes:
'Bar thousands more Britons from bringing their foreign husbands and wives to the UK, by raising a minimum income requirement'

From what I'm reading May might be in trouble? Maybe calling for an early vote wasn't such a good idea. If she wins but it's close should she resign?

May's fucked. She called a GE when polls indicated a massive majority for her party so she could force lasting unpleasant change, turning the UK into a no-services ta haven with strident anti-privacy, anti-civil-rights measures, under the cover of Brexit. She miscalculated badly.

This totally makes up for the shit show in 2015. I am happy with this result.

There were a few highlights though!

Thoroughly enjoyed the sick look on Nick Clegg's face, and it was a pleasure to see that smug cunt Salmond get the flick!

Theresa May looked like she'd been asked to suck a tramp's cock at her declaration!

fucking brilliant. now if we can just get rid of brexit and perhaps find a way to remove the word great from the country's name.

I think the PM took a massive gamble which didn't pay off.

But I do think she did it for the right reasons.

Heaven knows what sort of Government and Leader we'll have now!

Her position is untenable! ... The rest of Europe are pissing themselves at her predicament!

The EU Brexit negotiating team must be relishing going in to bat against 'Die Eiernde Lady'

A swift rerun in October, even with Labour winning a large majority, would be preferable to the position this stupid cow has left us in!

Well, Theresa May did warn us about a coalition of chaos, and told us not to vote for a party leader who associates with Irish extremists!

Trouble is, I didn't realise she was talking about her fuckin' self!

the bbc wrote:The DUP are pro-union (not Europe but UK), pro-Brexit and socially conservative.

The party, which returned 10 MPs to Westminster, has garnered a reputation for its strong, sometimes controversial views.

It opposes same-sex marriage and is anti-abortion - abortion remains illegal in Northern Ireland, except in specific medical cases.

One MP is a devout climate change denier, while a former MP once called for creationism - the belief that human life did not evolve over millions of years but was created by God - to be taught alongside evolution in science classes.

During the election campaign, the DUP's Emma Little-Pengelly was endorsed by the three biggest loyalist paramilitary organisations.

Centrism is the new sexy as far as I'm concerned. What have we learned after two years of reckless foolish protest voting?
And look who has come out on top, Merkle and Macron. The new leaders of the free world.

Nigel said Trumpism had no influence on the British vote, is that true?

The Unionists told their voters to vote for Brexit.
