What would your idea of a good reason be?

in light of the recent merkin style football news for the 2nd week
maybe we should tweak the booze laws, as 'it' seems the common dominator in both

Like the 'sacrifice' the ambassador and others that your hero Obama said they made. In case you didn't realize, the above is sarcasm.

A 'good' reason, if there could be one, would be a father giving up his life to save his son, for example.

None, Blue.

This thread is about gun control, isn't it? I thought it would give others who are very interested something to talk about.

Why? What's your point in responding? I thought you were busy mulling over the sex life of ACDers.

Nope.......................wrong yet again
this thread is about open carry in Ok.

Here is the gun control thread
http://forum.channels.nl/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=39370

So......................... I'll ask again,

were you trying to make a point, or doing your version of empty posting.

And..........what I read, from the female, was almost to good not to share.

All 3 guns were legally registered to mom, the kindergarten teacher. She was killed with her own gun by her son.

Rudy?
. Give me a moment. I'm still working on terrorism, plane crashes and potato blight. A little early to be politicizing this isn't it?

Not for me. I am numb over this at the moment and just wondering how stricter laws might have made a difference? Maybe not.

Things like this make me wonder if we aren`t all just heading for hell in a handbag. There never will be a good enough explanation for it.
We`ve just got to ride on and try our best to prevent hatred and violence from creeping into our personal lives. Usually kindness just requires another moment or a simple gesture.
We have to examine how we are spending our moments.

No-one's politicising anything. What we're doing is 'thinking about stuff'.

Yeah, false flag ops never happen and agent provocateurs are merely figments of our collective imaginations. Like the shadow people.

The NRA truly is a huge, worthless piece of shit.

But they are really going to get a political tongue lashing in the near future.
Navigating national controversy and violence are what the NRA does best & what elevates the NRA to its undeserved greatness.
You think Tea Baggers have dangerous opinions? I bet NRA membership skyrockets after the initial Government reports and recommendations come out of Bidens office.
I wonder how much of that new prescription money will be spent now on lawyers and con artists(I mean lobbyists) trying to wiggle out of this latest PR nightmare and keep the struggle(snort) alive. The NRA is going to eat this up. Lots of money and rhetoric, but minimal results from Congress other than bills that bolster Federal power and decrease a citizens ability to manage affairs and govern locally.

We've got a govenah, in Va., by the name of Bob McDonnell who believes we should arm the teachers and principals, as if more bullets flying is the answer to everything. Shootouts at the corrals could become commonplace, especially on exam days.
