Apparently Fukahima has now ensnared California's kelp and some of it's beaches.

Fuck! ... A swim in the Ocean off the Californian coast was on my bucket list!

Peace, Des.

Just make it the very last one to tick off , Des . You can sign off looking radiant !

Ah, just take a dip in the North Sea, its closer and just as freezing fucking cold!

I've been swimming in the North Sea loads of times (I went for a dip at Whitby 3 weeks ago) and apart from the third arm growing out of the middle of my back it hasn't done me any harm at all!

Is the sea off the Californian coast cold? I always imagined it to be nice and warm like the Med!

Peace, Des.

Coastal waters are cold as fuck til you get down to around Mexico.
If you swim around San Francisco you will need a wetsuit or die of hypothermia in short order.

No icebergs but wetsuits are the norm. If you want warm, go to the real west coast of the US, the Hawaiian islands=) However, if Cali is inundated...

You pussies, I swam in the North Sea off Hoek van Holland in March in my boxer shorts...in that year, 2007, three people had succumbed, they reported in the local news 10 minutes in the sea you'd be a dead man...I enjoyed it and lay on the beach afterwards with a Jack Russel licking me to life...I can honestly say I've never felt so invigorated....

I used to swim the ocean in Laguna beach and Santa Monica regularly and didn't think it was that cold from around July through September.

This is because the cold sobered you up. Sobriety is invigorating, isn't it?=)

They don't so much ' swim ' as such, Shezzby . It's more a question of splashing around for a couple of minutes for the benefit of a 20 second slot on regional news .

(NaturalNews) Beta radiation levels are off the charts at monitoring sites all
across North America, according to new reports. But experts are blaming these
radiation spikes on practically everything except for Fukushima.

Radiation testing site near Chicago records radiation levels thousands of times
higher than maximum safety threshold

California official blames plastic eating utensils for radiation spike, insist it can't
be Fukushima

would it be to harsh?? to wish leprosy upon these story talking officials

Video showing the most radioactive sites on earth, including Fukushima, which isn't at the top of the list. Also has worst occupations and worst personal habit that cause the most radiation to individuals.

Nuke the whales or the Japs? Why is your answer to any problem facing humanity, annihilation?

Definitely the conservative view, but seems beneath your intellect, imho.

On 2/17/2015, IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) completed third review of
Japan’s plans to decommission Fukushima plant.

NHK and other major Japanese media covered the press conference by Juan Carlos Lentijo,
leader of IAEA inspection team and reported that he strongly recommended to consider
discharging contaminated water into the Pacific.

They read the increasing contaminated water storage is stopping the decommissioning
plan, they are running out of the storage place

Imagine how bad this must really be if the sanitized, damage control version of the situation sounds like such a clusterfuck.

You will find that government subsidized monopolies will say whatever is believable and then do whatever is necessary to support the status quo and protect the top players.
My guess is we will "discover" soon that they have been recklessly and secretly leaking and dumping into the Pacific since the onset of this crisis.
