Amen.

We were nowhere near as fat as nation until high-fructose syrup and the elimination of dietary fat in our diets. We have substituted empty calories for nutrition all in the name of a buck.

Exactly. The more manipulation to the food, the more additives and nutrients <wink> added, the more corporate profit - and the sicker the human race becomes. But don't worry - we got a medicine for what ails you.
The f$€kers got the masses dancing on strings. And the profits just get sucked out of the community.

Actually, I didn't think it could be you and was happy it wasn't. Glad you had fun. I babysat the 2 year old whilst the new baby was born Thnksgiving Day. Little shit gave me and his Pa ear infections and he had ears and strep. Tonight is my xmas party of which is soooo nice and not going.

Thanks for listening....I suck.

No matter what we say in here, I hope you and your grandchild get better soon and congratulations on being a new Grammy. Believe it or not I also wish you could have gone to your party... now that sucks, not you.

Nah it most certainly wasn't me that dude was talking about -- way too whiny ass for my taste. I haven't even been to ACD in several months until today to read what all the hubbub was about, would rather come here for fun. We may be motley but we're a helluva lot more entertaining and witty as I can always count on Channels for a good laugh, not so with the other forum.

Listening to you was no problem at all and good health wishes for your family.

The killing of millions in order to manipulate control groups, shield Japanese Government and GE profits. This truly is a horror story.

Sinister

Are we surprised?

In the Hindui world view we are in the end stage of evolution - Kali - the destroyer
Some days it feels like you can see the writing on the wall.

It is December - half of the US has temperatures 20 to 30 degrees above normal. 60 degrees plus today in NYC..... In December?!
Sooo glad I am not just starting out in life on this planet.

Interesting how a little knowledge and creativity can bring about such destruction, chaos and fear.

Could this be the "forbidden fruit" we were warned about?

I thought the Japs were honourable people? If what he's saying is true, it's a right kick in the balls for the “Fukushima Fiftyâ€￾ innit?

i've find it amazing how they've managed to keep the main stream focused on their bi product of horrors in the middle east

and why common sense wouldn't intervene in this 'alleged' trucking of waste around japan to burn

It's scandalous that the mainstream news media aren't really talking about this. Japan is storing a terrifying future for itself and for the whole of the pacific.

their recent elections received lots of coverage recently in australia as does stories about whale hunting but very rarely anything at all about the nuclear issues. I agree its a joke.

so what all the news agencies in the world are in it together to keep to public stupid? I find that hard to believe but cant really come up with any other reasons.

what are your thoughts dazzler ?

Interesting read SP... noting Paul de Bruin, we do business with Jewometaal in Rotterdam. They are incredibly strict with incoming shipments. I have the report from him last year when one of our containers from Japan set off the alarm and all the guys in white suits had to be called out... it wasn't one of my better weeks...

I`m going to look into purchasing a reliable Geiger-Counter.
Really not a bad idea in this day and age.
I bet there is detectable radiation in some surprising places.

Bring it to the grocery store and some of the local Sushi joints.

Put the fear into them.

" You can tell the DOE to continue to keep its radioactive metal out of the commercial metal supply, commerce, and our personal items. You can demand a full environmental impact statement. Comment deadline is Feb. 9, 2013. Email to: scrap_PEAcomments@hq.doe.gov (with an underscore after “scrap_â€￾). Snail mail to: Jane Summerson / DOE NNSA / PO Box 5400, Bldg. 401K. AFB East / Albuquerque, New Mexico 87185 "

Best case scenario currently is 40 years to complete the "clean-up" of the immediate area surrounding the plant.
Some are saying it will probably take decades longer.

Anyone not voting at all should STFU or at least explain what they are actively doing (besides ranting on the interwebs) to change things.
