I grow my own personal use suppley every year, but if I run out, I purchase Cannabis goodies at the nearby Seneca Indian reservation now. They have dispensaries popping up all over their nation. Tax free just like their gas and cigs.
Most of those little dispensaries are not much more than little wooden shacks on private Indian owned property. I stopped by one in a hamlet called Kill Buck and the brother running the place had an assault weapon hanging on the wall with a couple of other brothers shooting pistols in a target range out back in the trees. It looked like a Black Panther convention. But hey, their gear is very good.
New York State still hasn't even opened up state licensed dispensaries yet. But who wants to pay 8.2 percent tax on top of the purchase price? I'll stick with the gear the Indians are selling thank you.

Thats awesome Cat , my god son in watkins glen also told me about Sticker shops ... I have been legal to buy and grow from 2007 , but i pay an annual fee for the privilege . I have to re-up annually . Its just amazing how far this marijuana product thing has changed over the years .I do miss some of the old school days when a Key was in the neighborhood of 300 $

That's the thing, Hobie, weed has gotten to expensive. And in the legal states the taxes amount to thievery. I'm sure it has made many sober people. Just the idea of paying that much in taxes turns my stomach.
I really feel I've outgrown weed. Spending everyday in a haze is no way to live. I'm enjoying my sobriety.

A cheeseburger walks into a bar , sits at the counter and orders a Beer , the bartender says " sorry we don't serve food "

Two threads are about to step into the same bar, when one says to the other "this place doesn't serve threads" where the other frazzles itself up and ties itself into a square knot and proceeds to the bar and orders a beer. Whereupon the bartenders sez "you''re a thread, ain't you?" and the thread replies, "why no i'm afraid not."

Virginia has legalized, but dragging feet on dispensaries, which imo is dumb when not a single border state has legalized recreational dispensaries, so those citizens would be possibly coming to Va. for their weed, but Va. is considering a 30+% tax on it, which will likely keep folks like me growing their own. Still have to pay taxes on the products i buy to grow my strains, but likely a lot less hassle all around.

Great deal Cat, if Delaware ever gets around to legalizing they'd likely be tax free too.

How is the opium content in hash that is sold in the Dam these days?
I got a $20 dollar gram of "moroccan" hash from the Seneca's a few weeks ago...black as night, very soft and pliable. It is very mild to smoke and doesn't explode in your lungs. First hash I've had in decades.
I wonder who made it and with what ingredients? I don't believe the Seneca Nation is allowed to import goodies from out of state based on Nation laws, and the dispensary advertises it as their house brand. With the way they machine trim their nugs they must have quite a bit of trichomes bagged up to use for other goodies. They have the dab and shatter stuff as well but haven't tried it yet. 90% thc is pretty powerful so look out.
Very pleasant effect with that hashish I might add. I plan to get some more.

Most coffeeshops advertise 40-45% opium. Hope that helps.

They very likely made it themselves, Cat and created with only cannabis and ice, if it's the way i create mine. When harvesting i go to extra trouble by mincing the stems of leaves and mostly chop the parts of the plant that aren't saved. From that you develop the taste for the hash and by adding bud to the process you create however strong a hash you desire. Mine is mixed thoroughly with ice water and sifted thru certain bubble bags to produce a non bubble hash, that tastes much like what's sold in Amsterdam as imported hashish.

Such a rare commodity that whoever develops the process commercially and markets the product multi state should make a fortune.

Luckily you’re not in Delaware. The Democratic gubner just vetoed the legalization bill instead of signing it.

Possible candidate for cunt of the day.

I imagine that someday pot will be illegal again and Abortion rights will return. Enjoy your freedoms and civil rights while they last.

Very interesting video, thanks for sharing Hobie. A neighbor girl married a Moroccan lad who was attending her school as an exchange student. Her parents were telling me that it's literally impossible for them to go visit his family or for his family to come here for a visit, however they didn't explain why. Next time I see him, I'll have to ask him if he was from the hash producing area of the country. I know he and his wife both use it. I've run in to him at a local dispensary before.

I don't know about back there, but here in Oregon they have to be able to track all products back to the seeds they came from. No imports even from the next state, let alone another country. I'd love a big chunk of temple ball but I'll settle for the kief in the bottom of my Mendo Mulcher which is full at the moment.

I followed that link Hobie, but alas they must be understandably out, only kief and rosin. Saves me a long drive. I still make my own on occasion and that occasion's raising its head cause i'm running out, pain in the butt to make, but results are sooo nice and all that pain simply fades away.

Denver now purportedly has two cannabis lounges, of which i briefly visited the original one across the street from interstate 25, was quite small and very uncomfortable looking stools. However, Montgomery county Maryland is catching up!

Unfortunately rule number one is you have to be a resident of the state of Maryland. Where's the bliss in that, MileHigh?

It may be a bit more of a drive for you alpha, but NY State is opening lounges for people to enjoy their dispensary purchases in. I think they should already have some open by now. Nevada has them also. I'm hoping Oregon and California follow suit since they both border NV.

No lounge, but DC's opening pot shops where one has to buy artwork and the 'weed' is thrown in for free.

The friend who told me about the place said it was so named, because they're on the top floor of the building they're in, but what i found interesting on their menu is they too purportedly sell afgani (style?) hash.

That sounds very similar to what Hobie was telling us about NY State when we visited last year except there you bought a sticker and got the weed for free. We didn't go in to any because I had brought so much with me so I didn't get a chance to check out their menus. Also, my nephew told me that none of it was regulated yet. You were buying what would've been for sale on the black market.
