I buy tubes and roll my own cigarettes with Carpenter's Cut smooth pipe tobacco. Buying individual packs of cigarettes is about as silly as paying $20 a gram for weed all the time.

I know people that want me to call them nigger! They ask for me to do it. Of course, they are the same ones that run around calling everyone rednecks too so I guess you have to consider the source.

Great website, BTW, generous j.

Might be the seed/clone source. I had no problems with that strain.

There are many conditions that may be responsible. Some strains want to do this if the lighting isn't just right. Or the ph. Other strains may not react like this under the same conditions. Good light, fresh air and maybe this strain likes room around it. Some can do well a little crowded, and others not well. You may have a touchy breed that wants everything perfect. If other plants aren't doing this, drop the herm.

I'm just wrapping up a grow, and wound up with 5 hermies out of 6 with the ch9 "Vantage" strain fem seeds. Had a heat wave for a week during the month of veg growth and it got into the upper 90's in the grow room late in the afternoons. Probably the genetics mostly to blame.

I can't find any of those website strains here. "Not available in your area" is what I always get. NYS is still in the stone age when it comes to cannabis issues.

Is it even possible to find authentic "Northern Lights" fem seeds for mail order? Or has it been bred out over the years?

Bit of 'digging' suggests that others have had concerns with stability . The three I had were binned when it became evident that picking the odd cluster off wasnt going to cut it . Nine weeks down the line, im finding a few seeds in plants that shared the space . Nothing disastrous but proof that if you take your eye off the ball for a day or two....shit happens .

Probably not . Ive seen several' Northern light' grows in recent times . Non looked remotely like the original plant and also without the matching potency .

Damn. I bought some at Tranquillo in the Jordaan 15 years ago during a visit and it was awesome for insomnia. I'd like to grow a decent heavy indica. I've got some ch9 mixed strain pack seeds to go through but I might have to switch suppliers. No clone availability. We're not that sophisticated around here due to the law........I hear about wax and shatter and hash and clones and I have no idea whats up with all that. Some of you live in an alternative universe where cannabis items and gear are available. wow

Imo, feminized seeds should be avoided. They've been unstable for me in the past and they never grow as vigorously as non feminized seeds, but that's not to say the vigor won't return by adulthood, or in ensuing clones. By feminizing the seed you essentially create a gmo, which i tend to avoid anyway. Also, Nirvana seeds used to have some decent Northern Lights. They once had a Shiva/Northern Lights that was legendary. However, alas, can't be had anymore. Their closest strain is Medusa, but it isn't nearly as potent.

Cant say that ive had more herms with fem seeds than I have had with regs . What I have noticed, however , is a lack of vigour in some strains . They do serve some purpose ,so im not going to knock them .

Fem certainly have their limitations, but for us growers with mandated plant counts.... such as Vermont where my medical grow license limits me to 2 mature females and seven immature plants..... buying reg seeds makes a small grow operation difficult to mange, legally.

Agree far better genetic diversity and superior phenos with reg seeds.

My preferred choice are clones.... Near impossible in a prohibition state. I thank the gods for FedEx overnight....

Good Website. Actually have gotten some recommendations from their website in Vegas. Of course through my brother who has a MMJ card.

And packing tubes with pipe tobacco is about as silly as smoking tobacco out of a marijuana pipe. I also pack my own tubes, but I use decent rolling tobacco. I used to buy shag at Harvard, very high quality, but then I found a place much closer and cheaper, and now smoke something called Cherokee. Can't u buy rolling tobacco in vt?

The only difference are the words cigarette and pipe. The tobacco is the same. The woman at the tobacco outlet told me the word cigarette just makes the tobacco sell for a higher price. She said you put the word cigarette on tobacco and the price goes up. Look for yourself. The same amount of tobacco will be more expensive with cigarette on the package instead of pipe. Buy a bag of each and compare them yourself.

Police Have a New Mouth-Swab Test to Check if Drivers Are Under the Influence of Marijuana or Other Drugs
http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-m ... story.html

have been in some bars in missouri, back in the 90's, what had these pill packets that would allegedly knock your alcohol level down .
i have no idea how, or, if that worked, but assuming it did, you'd think there's a reasonable facsimile to counter this .

They started testing for drug driving in Ireland last week. It's a bit fucked as you could fail the test if you are not currently stoned. Like the next day for example.

I feel as you do, Gen. Everyone who enjoys it several times a week would always have some in their system, and could never pass the test.
