You have no idea what would have happened nor does anyone else. It could have been the best eight years in American history

That is such a silly retort to any argument.

Free phones for the poor, the homeless, and the crack dealers miraculously paid for by those ever increasing fees tacked on to our phone bills...
...Along with the other layers of agencies, commissions, administrators an un-elected officials in control of that huge pile of loot, er, I mean.. revenue.
Now that is a small accomplishment that really adds up!

Everyone in America is NOT buying foreign cars. Ford is doing great followed by GM and Chrysler. Those are jobs Obama saved! The ACA has covered millions of previously vulnerable Americans. My children are benefiting right now. Sure it isn't single payer, sure it helps the insurance industry. Do you remember why? Can you say "filibuster"? I note that when I mention reduction of the deficit you immediately switch to the national debt and China...do you know who is responsible? Do you have nothing to say about the deficit? My prediction is that history will look favorably upon the Obama administration; congress? not so much.

History looks very favorably on Ronald Reagan I think he holds some records for shit named after him...but you still blame him for everything wrong in California for the last four decades since he was Governor. So I think you are probably right here about Obama.

ACA is broke, they can't pay the money promised, it's all gone to the insurance companies. Co-ops are failing across the country with more to follow. 80,000 in Colorado just lost their insurance last week. I'm not making this shit up, it's right there.

American cars are better but are still shit, anyone who buys one is not doing their homework.

I give Obama credit for the good stuff why is it so hard to be critical of the bad stuff? Have you been reading the Legacy thread ? All that shit is true also.

Honestly not much different. It seems each administration democrat or republican keep pushing us further, step by step, to where the real powers want. It has become a momentum since Bush senior told us we were entering into a "New World Order."
We wondered what that meant. Now we have an idea. Each President takes orders from these same powers. It is their job. That's my take as of now. As things change, I will moderate my views. I cannot blame Bush, or Obama, or any other.

I stand by my position that Reagan was the worst governor California ever had, well, there's Arnie isn't there? Ending tuition free university had had an immense and deleterious effect upon the state and the country. As for president; all I need say is "trickle down economics" I think you're smart enough to know what that wrought.

Remind me; what alternative did the republicans put forward to replace it? If it's so bad why couldn't the republicans get it repealed after many dozens of attempts? Do you suggest that removing health care from millions of people is a better alternative to fixing the problems with the ACA? Really?

Old Fart wrote:American cars are better but are still shit, anyone who buys one is not doing their homework.

I drive a 15 year old American car with 220,000 miles on it. Very reliable and well built. I have never had a Japanese car.

No, you haven't. I have criticized Obama many times for his ties to Wall Street. The jury is still out on the TPP; initially I am against it.

How is it you don't blame Bush, or Obama, for selling out the amerikkkan electorate, let alone Americans? They're being paid way more by the oligarchs than that measly compensation by the taxpayers, but should greed alone be the reason to screw our constitution? Also what others? Must be a conspiracy of sorts, eh?

Kevin Zeese wrote:At its root, the TPP is about modern colonialism. It is the way that Western governments and their transnational corporations, including Wall Street banks, can dominate the economies of developing nations. And it’s not too late to stop it.

Make up your mind quickly Bo, the TPP is all about making people poorer and our oligarchs richer.

Bo, the ACA is broke how about addressing the facts about its viability instead of blaming the Republicans for it. The Republicans, no surprise here, offered up nothing and Obamacare is still doomed. I'm not defending the fucking Republicans.

Statistics say American cars suck, glad you got a good one.

Drones, Wall Street, shitty trade deals, shitty foreign policy, enormous debt and he's left his party in shambles. Obama lies to you and you don't give a shit. He's a Democrat.

Since the alternative to the ACA is nothing the Republicans offered nothing. And that's exactly what millions of Americans want and need is nothing. A doctor's visit and medicine for the flu or a sinus infection is less than $100 if you pay cash.

I can understand forcing insurance to extend coverage to those with preexisting conditions. I can also understand CHOOSING to be free from health insurance if that is what you want and need. It is possible to make both camps happy here.

The REAL problem with health care is the cost associated with surgeries and prolonged treatment. More attention needs to be given to controlling the costs. Getting filthy rich from a person's maladies is beyond disgusting.

Who are you talking about here? I see only one party in "shambles". Let's fix the fucking ACA not just rail against it or try to remove it. Fixing it is the only option, that or evolve it into a true single payer system. Medicare for all!.

I've had many good American cars...I must be really lucky! 4 of the top selling cars in the us are American (lots of stupid, uninformed consumers, right?).

Drones and Special Ops are the way to wage war IMO.

Deficit down by 2/3rds.

Democrats suck less than republicans or tea-baggers. I an NOT a Democrat; I am a socialist/progressive. List of lies forthcoming is it?

I have never lied and you can fuck off you cunt for saying it. You have your head in the sand and you are the biggest shill for the Democrats that has ever posted on Channels. Besides...you have no business calling anyone a liar seeing as I've caught you in some doozies in our history.

Tell me one thing I've lied about, then you can start addressing the facts I've posted about your scumbag of a president. You are a goose-stepping Democrat with the credibility of a politician.

Oh and get off your lazy fat ass and look into the viability of the ACA and reliability records of American cars.

You don't give a fuck about the 90% of people killed by drones that were completely innocent? And then you were lied to about it by your president. And even when you found out the truth, it's just war? No big deal? You really are a scumbag if you don't give a shit about innocents being killed as long as your kids are sucking off the government tit.

Election season can flare tempers. Although you are right about Bo being a shill as he has demonstrated over and over a complete inability to analyze new information, only parrot what he believes because he knows what he knows. Look at him cite his personal car as evidence of the reliability for American cars. Someone with a proclivity towards analytical thinking would not cite anecdotal evidence as a point in a discussion without giving validity to the generally accepted aggregate data surrounding the reliability of American cars versus foreign cars.

Another idiot here even cited an exhaust/mileage scandal with Volkswagen as an argument against the point, not being able to decipher marketing deception from reliability. In short Old Fart, don't get so excited when debating these folks. The discourse goes to a stupid level very quickly when you debate a homeless guy and a hypocritical near millionaire land baron socialist.

My cousin is waiting for a liver right now. She has a rare liver disease and needs a transplant. Her insurance won't cover everything surrounding the transplant so she has been forced to do fund raising. And she's got good government insurance as she works in the probate judge's office. If you would have taken the time to read one of my above posts you wouldn't have typed that as I plainly stated the costs are the real problems, especially the cost of surgery and prolonged treatments. Please remember her in your prayers. She desperately needs a liver.

Be careful who you call an idiot. I drive a Hyundai and I've got the window sticker in the glovebox. The part content is 95% Korean and it is assembled in Korea so I currently don't drive an American made car. Although another one of my cousins drives 1995 Suburban and it has over 200,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. He is looking to buy a camper and pull it across the country with the Suburban that's got over 200,000 miles on the odometer. And I have owned american made cars, mostly ford mustang gt's and I didn't have a single problem with them. As a matter of fact, I modded most of them and drove the hell out of them with no problems.
No need to go blind when Toyota and Volkswagen have fuck ups. The least you can do is be fair.

Again, 4 of the top 10 cars in sales are American per Consumer Reports. I only pointed out that Obama saved the US automobile industry, rather than disparage American cars, please just process that new (to you evidently) information. I would rather buy things made here when I can.
SD if I am somehow a "shill" for the Democrats then you are, by the same standards a "shill" for Old Fart and I believe that is worse.

AS I stated; I am in favor of drone strikes against our enemies.

Please point out that "new information" that you think I cannot process or STFU.

That's a great link.
For total sales its:
1) ford f series
2) Chevy Silverado
3) dodge ram
All 3 rank above Toyota and Volkswagen. Volkswagen isn't even a blip on the radar.

Why do you think it's okay that 90% of the people killed by drones are innocents and that your government lied about it?

Poor source, Bo should've used the automakers and since you used the term "cars" you and your source are wrong. American cars have trouble keeping four in the top ten and only one as high as fourth, in 2015. Now had you used the words vehicles, or trucks, then apparently Americans are still buying their trucks.

Bohannon wrote:I only pointed out that Obama saved the US automobile industry, rather than disparage American cars, please just process that new (to you evidently) information.

Here's some, evidently, new information for you. Obama didn't save the auto industry. He manipulated our marketplace, which in a purportedly free market is a bad thing! However, in our market the only the only telltale thing to occur was:

Porter Stansberry wrote:His [car czar Steve Rattner] job wasn't to fix GM. It was to deliver billions to the union and, thus, deliver Michigan for Obama in the next election.

Unlike bankruptcy court the unions walked away with all the bailout money.

Bohannon wrote:AS I stated; I am in favor of drone strikes against our enemies.

Yes you've stated your penchant for terrorism against women and children, as long as they're 'collateral damage' in the search for freedom fighters [militants] everywhere and most importantly, as long as they're not your family. Yet you don't think you're a shill, for the very people doing the killings?
