I have a chance to switch my January return from Munich to Brussels. I was wondering if there is any experience you have in terms of getting some gear over there. I under stand its nearly impossible in Munich.this, philter

What J Said.

Been to Brussels several times. Great food. I believe possession of less than 5 grams is just like in AMS.

Great music museum near the National Gallery. Instruments over 1000 years old. They give you headphones, and when you stand on the dot
in front of each instrument, you hear it being played.

Get some mussels and frites. And I'm sure you know they have a gazillion kinds of beer.

Don't sweat bringing it to Belgium from Holland but I have seen car searches and border control type presence if you are traveling via Terneuzen (cool tunnel under water). I would advise against buying from street dealers in Brussels.

Obviously go the the Grand Place.

Then go to Delirium Tremens around the corner. This bar claims to have more beers for sale at any one time than any other bar and I believe them. Serious menu! There's also 'Janikin Pis' across from the entrance (lesser known female equivalent).

Might be worth a trip to Waterloo to climb the monument and pop into the museum. Its only a bus drive from the centre and is really cool. I smoked a doober up there 4/5 years ago.

Actually the issue cus I won't be able to visit and this year only spending the night in Brussels. I read that the African section is the place. Also that I gave up alcohol some years ago, so I lose out this time.
