The shops I use don't have menus, just glass containers with the weed on the counter or behind. The strain is written on the container and you can check out as many as you want. Many of them post menus on Weed Maps where you can go and check out hundreds of menus if you like. Here is an example.

https://weedmaps.com/dispensaries/color ... n#weedmenu

I can't remember seeing an actual menu in any of the medical shops I've visited. Maybe the retail guys are doing it.

off topic but...

Six inches of fresh snow the last few nights and sweatshirt weather today makes for a mighty fine day in Colorado.

We forgot to let our Lab in last night before we went to bed.

We only got about 4 inches in my area, which was fine, but I could do without the subzero temps. Spring is around the corner!

Someone was asking a while back when the state of Washington would start selling recreational weed. Well, it seems like its going to be June:

Debra Borchardt wrote:The Board received a total of 7,046 applications with 2,821 requesting producer licenses, 2,019 for processors and 2,206 for retail outlets. They will limit the retail stores to 334.

The cannabis will be priced at $3 per gram for a producer price, $6 per gram for the processor and a pre-tax $12 per gram retail price. The board anticipates tax revenue of up to $2 billion during the first five years as a result of a 25% tax on each level. That's right, ultimately this cannabis will have been taxed 75% by the time it reaches the customer.

Between 2,206 applications for retail and only 334 approvals and the 75% tax, me thinks there could be as much craig's list activity, that it could rival even Denver's.

$12 a gram still isn't too bad for retail. It is $10 a gram locally. I can get top shelf buds for $210 oz in Eugene.

Craigslist is a good place to look in Vancouver BC too.

So is the park across the streets from Marc Emery's place and the town's lone coffeeshop. (at least, as of a couple years ago)

You should go! One of the few places whose dispensaries allow reciprocity with any med card issued from anywhere that has them.

There is an article in today's NY times and NY Post stating that Colorado estimates revenue from MJ taxes will exceed expectations.

Potentially in excess of $100 million dollars.

Yeah good news. They are spending some of it on drug education... Trying to get people off pot.

Ya gotta love it.

Tax MJ? Yes.

Use the tax revenue from sales of pot to get people to stop smoking pot?

Talk about a circular firing squad?

Shouting and whinging is what you do Shezz. Mixed with your alcoholism, not a pretty sight to see either.

Just accept my statement. Weed is easier on the body and mind, whether you choose to acknowledge this really doesn't matter.

Comparing getting mildly euphoric from a few his of nice weed to getting bladder-spilling drunk; well, there is no comparison.
