Goat-Corn, Bacon & calf-fries

Postby a bollocks » Sun Oct 24, 4:00 am

a farmer, cookie & a bollocks...

...leavin.... on a jet-plane..... wait, a rental car... gotta spur-uh-da-moment feeeeeelin...

'twas the night before BlissMas and all were drivin
a bollocks, seekin farmland, squintin and thrivin
faint dreams of Pork & Goat, sauted' & smoked
scant time for thinking, GOTTA MOOB!

I arrived on a cloudless night in Farmerville. Lordy. Thank God I didn't turn left at Albuquerque.
This is some nice shit. Such a loverly town. Such crisp, cool air.
..we'll soon fuck that up.

MY MAN! (hugs all 'round) The farmer is all-right. So are the Kids.

lordiness, I remember this dude. He is just like my memory from Feb. Except a bit more ugliness. He is quite the gracious host.

We proceed to laff, drink, smoke, listen, talk, fart, smoke, belch, drink, scratch, think, not, and fuckin laff.

I run out to the car and bring my boyo the new Firesign Theatre CD. Yes folks *NEW*. (I meant to give it to the farmer in FEB)

Time to trip.

Our host-dude has got a TV the size of Centraal Station. JEEZUS! he plugs in the CD and we start watchin a little tube too.
...as we watch, listen, and scratch.... I spy, with my little eye, just a twitch in the time-continuum. a hitch in the Giddy-Up.

the TV is synched with the CD. Either, Firesign has figgered it out or we need more smoke. So... we meander to the kitchen.
Home-made Ice-hasj and it's mother and some ferner beir later... we returned to the ring.... round deux. *DING*
FST had been playing nonsense during our vacation... it was like it was orchestrated. This time it's personal.

Corn-Poot-Boyo decides on the Travel channel. Goed choice. A late Friday travel-freak-fest. WHO KNEW?

to make a short story longer...

Our firesign, us'ns, and the travel channel took a journey. Finally, I have a witness. The osmosis of the evening had elevated into sacred memory status. Firesign, us and the TV were on the exact wavelength. Synched to the Tee. Tears ensued. We have arrived. Did I mention the witness thingy?

oh this is a goed album. Funny shite, old refs too.

Beddy-bye time. I am whacked. 7-1/2 hours drivin, 4 more trippin, ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

I get the couch. I love me some couch. I miss it too.

Sat nite to come.... WITH BACON!

Hate to do this to you MHD, but look on the main forum page it reads:

Channelites Trip Reports
A forum where you can read the great adventures of the visitors to Amsterdam and where members of The Channels can meet. Reading for all, posting only for members.

Personally I dont have a problem with A Bollocks's report but 'Son' was within his right to question it (maybe a little bit more politely)

"The great adventures of the visitors to Amsterdam". That seems clear to me B. He is a visitor to Amsterdam. And he writes of a great adventure. I don't see where it says great adventures in Amsterdam by visitors.

Besides, who reads that first post anyway B? lol. You got a flaming PM coming now buddy.

Personally, I'd like to read more about Bollocks' trip to the farm. It's about smokin' hooter with someone he met in the Dam.

And, wait a minute! What an idea?
If it irritates you to read the stuff Bollocks posts on here. DON'T READ IT!

Or, read it, be irritated, and waste EVERYONE'S time pissin' and moanin' about what he writes.

I alway like an a bollocks story, even though I always have trouble follwing the narrative...I'm not sure whether I'm too old or too young to understand the lingo.

Anyway, it was worth the post if only for the shockinginfo that the Firesign Theater guys are still alive (and putting out albums....)

I met him one night near the Old Church and we drank and smoked and talked to some other Texans, I think it was. Although he had problems sitting in a chair without falling out, he partied like a champ and didn't quit. As it is, I can only understand maybe 2/3 of his posts...like a mental puzzle. But he'll party like a youngin' when he shows up, and that's a wonderful spirit.

I tried both calf fries and reading the posts of one "a bollocks", recently. I found both to have a tender texture and a mysterious flavor. The calf-fries seemed to improve my workout the next day, and the bollocks posts seem to work my brain in an improved way. I understand that you can't really go by me, as I am a total weirdo, but I don't see why people who dislike strangeness order up either one, when there are so many other items on the menu.
