Very Similar

Postby Philter » Sun Sep 02, 11:52 pm

I had a stop in St. Martin. It was a cruise including Bahamas and St. Thomas stops. I had read about a beach in St. Thomas called 'Coki Beach' which described the smell of Cannabis and people selling it. Went there and didn't see or smell any of that. Went again and still nothing. Admittedly, I didn't approach anyone. Back on the cruise after the show that night the Entertainment director said 'Tommorow we are in St. Martin. One word of advice - walk on the grass, dont smoke it' ah thank you sir. So that means...

Went there and wasn't sure if to ask the people who sell the beach chair rentals. Didn't seem very Rasta to me. So I just enjoyed the beach. Then walked around the town (Dutch Side, Phillipsburg). Stopped at a small fruit stand store. One fellow seemed like he was just chilling. So I asked him ' so is it like Amsterdam here'

He answers, "Very similar"
Me: Ganja?
Him: You want, I can get.
Me: One gram.
Him: wait here be right back.

Not the best deal ($20) but time constraints. Later I met other people who can provide a better price figure about $15 or less. One fellow selling right from his home.

A very nice sized gram, local grown he said, maybe from Jamaica who knows. had a few seeds, hardly stems, very nice aroma. I rolled in one of the steps leading to some apartments nearby, felt right at home. Fortunately the roll was good and I smoked there. SOmewhat discrete. very fine Ganja.

Went back to the ship to roll more and get out of the bathing suit and went back to town. smoked other joint discretely in small alleys between buildings. Walked the rest of way back on the beach, for a couple of hours.

What's good here is that the beach is so close to where you can procure the Ganja. Haven't seen rest of Island, I assume there are more secluded beaches but this main beach in Phillipsburg is pretty nice. Saw one other joint being smoked on beach.

So if it's tolerated or not, I can't say, it seems like it is.

I can honestly say that I've never bought just 1 gram of reefer. Kudos for having the nads to post that.

My experience in that part of the world...is to always ask resort security officers where to get your shit.

Only if sampling, then back for 3 to 5 grams. Would not leave the shop with one gram 1 gram would just disappear way too quickly.and if it was my only chance to score - it would definitely be more.

To clarify - there are two of us who smoke and Amsterdam is not like any other situation. One can buy a gram, then buy another and another. Where as in real world procuring, one would want to buy what they need as dealers do not prefer quick returns, they rather see you once a week or a month.

In coffeeshops I will get sometimes a half gram as a sample. I love variety of strains rather than stay with one strain.

I don't consume that much Cannanis, I used to smoke in the day as well but haven't been doing that consistenly for over 7 years.

that more would have not really been needed. I prefer to wait till evening for a smoke. I really don't enjoy the daytime smoke anymore most of the time. THis case was an exception. It was very nice smoke. I wish I could get more of that. But I wasn't going to bring back through the Airport in Orlando. actually i had some edibles on the cruise but they were starting to lose some potency by that point.

They always catch us with something. My wife loves to try and sneak on some liquid.

Smoking on the ship was hard. You think of a Carribean view but the wind made it very hard to light up there. I used bathrooms, like at the casino since they allow smoking there. I thought about smoking the J in the Casino but wasnt sure that would be cool.

I used to live about a mile away from Coki. I might be moving back soon.

np Boney, we love coks around here.
Dano, no shit, how is the living there?
I could definetly live there in St. Thomas. Econmy seemed pretty slow. UNless you can work with tourists showing them places. It's a great retirement place you see alot of that.
