I just spent a couple hours out of my Sunday afternoon vaping Permafrost and reading your most recent report. I am finally back to work full time after way too long and haven't been in here for a few months. Your rain experiences remind me of my trip over last October. I spent a small part of my last full day there in the same cheese shop across the street from Puccini, dodging the rain. The cheese was fantastic. Thanks for the read and fwiw, I figured out your gender a long time ago.

I plan to get back next year some time, already tucking funds aside....

Hey Moe, congrats on the gig and being able to plan for the next trip to Amsterdam! that cheese shop was a real treat, even without doing their formal cheese tasting!

we probably all share variations on the same trip. : >

OF, thanks. I am really glad that you enjoyed the report!

Des - sorry no dog pictures. the mate thinks I am already too self revealing and totally shudders with the idea of putting the dog's face up. You are just gonna have to meet him in person.

Red - no fish scale roof pictures - did not have the camera that morning.
(isn't that always the case? the best shots are caught in your head!)

Heh,when my kids were little we did a lot of travel including a sightseeing car trip across the country. When they saw something that really caught their interest I told them to "take a picture with your mind". They would stare at the scene or object, wink an eye and make a "click" sound. The funny thing is that to this day they have near perfect recall of those things.
