Delta Works

Postby H » Fri Nov 13, 2:24 pm

Thanks for posting the link to the Delta Works, you've given me a new destination in the Netherlands to visit.

During a past visit I very much enjoyed visiting the ZuiderZee Museum and poking around the Afsluitdijk. Such large human versus nature projects amaze me. Unfortunately, the visit greatly bored my travelling companion, who was constantly asking when we would leave. Fortunately I brought along enough supplies to pacify them when they got too irritable. Yet another reason why I prefer to travel alone.

If you'd post a picture or two of your visit to the Delta Works I'd be most appreciative.

I consumed that exzcellent steak at Louise's house, my gracious Dutch hostess for this and several of my past trips.

For excelloent beef in Haarlem I would reccomend Wilma and Alberts on the Grote Markt.
