5 hr trip

Postby hank » Sun Oct 11, 4:43 pm

Just got back from Nice,fr. On the way over we had a 5hr layover at Schipol. Landed put our bags in a locker, bought round trip train tickets and headed for town. A bit drizzely day of course, but it felt great to be back, what a rush, went to Dekuil had 2 vapo bags of neville haze, rolled the rest in a joint, had coffee and tea, headed over to the soup kitchen for some split pea soup, bit of a walk around, 12 noon and back to the plane, even though it was quick, I continue to relive it in my mind. 3wks in Nice and back home to reality, the good times go by like the blink of an eye, the boring ones drag on. Channels is a daily visit for me for years, I really enjoy you all.

Soup kitchen ay? Interesting... I'm assuming thats just a humorous name for a regular establishment and not, in fact, a soup dispensary for the homeless? If this is the case i might have to check it out.

Was nice nice?

I too wouldn't mind knowing of a place for a bowl of good split pea soup! The places I've tried were much too watery.

Thank you for that OF, I will definitely give it a try next month! I'd much rather have my mouth watering, than the soup.;-)
