Southern California Medical Marijuana trip report #2

Postby Chili Ed » Sun Mar 29, 7:56 pm

C.A.R.E. Collective

Made the drive from O.C. to Van Nuys to visit C.A.R.E. My friend had been recently and said that this place was amazing and that I must check it out. All the positive reviews here sealed the deal for me.

I pre-verified a couple of days in advance. When I arrived I filled out three very simple forms and was called into a very special budroom. The meds were on display in big jars. Each strain had an information card on display next to it full of detailed info. I was immediately impressed. I knew I was in very hi-quality medical marijuana collective.

Before I could see any further I noticed a very attentive tall guy with glasses and a very official lab coat on. He immediately greeted my friend and me and gave us the lowdown. We had his undivided attention. I was amazed by his expert knowledge. He worked hard to inform and help us find what we were looking for. I was happy to be in such good hands.

After looking through much of the meds with my new canna guru, I decided on the Black Domina and the Super Silver Haze. I also picked up some of the special Polm at $30 a gram. I was very happy with my purchase.

C.A.R.E. is a very special collective with a ton of info on all their meds. I believe my new friends name is “Hap. He is a true specialist. The lab coat suits him perfectly. The place looks really great! I will be back very soon to this quality collective.

Thank you Hap and the rest of the team at C.A.R.E.

TOP Collective -The Organic Pharmacy

I decided to make the trip trom O.C. to TOP after learning they had the "Pocket Alchemy" tincture sprays from DNA Genetics. I have been looking for a good alternative to smoking and the idea of a "sublingual" effect sounded good to me.

I called and pre-verified Friday morning, very easy. I also had my friend do the same. It's nice to be able to pre-verify as my doctor does not verify on Saturday's until 2pm.

My friend and I arrived at 10am just as they were opening. They copied our recs and we signed a quick form and were on our way in.

As I walked into the med room I noticed a couple of beautiful mother plants. I wanted one. I must pick one up in the near future. It's nice to know that they carry mother plants here.

As I got to the counter I was greeted by a very nice budtender named Peter. Other staff memebers were about taking care of things as they were having a little work done. Every staff member that I encountered was sure to great me with a hello. I felt very comfortable at this collective. Probably the nicest staff I have encountered. Very very cool people here.

I noticed all the edibles and drinks they had, wow! they have quite a selection! I was quite impressed with all the types of items they carry. My friend was busy examining the flowers with a lovely and beautiful young lady. Peter began showing me the "Pocket Alchemy's" as I requested. He even let me sample one, although I'm not sure if it got me medicated. I love the idea of the spray with a sublingual effect. This is exactly what I need as my throat has been getting quite irritated from "smoke".

I was also shown the Medi-Strips, which seemed very cool. I'm not necessarily one for edibles, but I need to be now. I must find something as close to smoking as possible. I'm on a hunt......

I picked up 2 of the Pocktet Alchemy's a couple of Medi-Strips and some hash pills. Pricing was good. My friend picked up an ounce of flowers and recieved a free eighth. We both recieved 10% off for being first time patients.

After arriving home I tried the PA's. They have a good taste, but I didn't really feel medicated. I understand that they will be getting an Extra strength version soon, so I will be on the lookout for those. I definately have "high hopes" for these. I love the idea, so I was a little bummed with the effects. DNA genetics have an excellent product line so I expect we will see these things with the Extra strength versions very soon.

All in all I was very happy with my visit to TOP. Everyone was extremely nice and professional. They are a very attentive staff that are definately there for the patients needs. I will be back very soon, probably next week.

Thank you to everyone at TOP! You guys are "high" on my list!

Hey Hank! The Pocket Alchemy's didn't do a whole lot for me. They have an extra strength version that I will try to get ahold of soon. They cost $40 each.

I'm a bit surprised there was nothing at all about ADHC.
