Amsterdam March 2008 Photos

Postby Purperen » Mon Apr 07, 1:36 pm

I've uploaded photos of my trip to Amsterdam last month onto Webshots, if anybody would like to see them. Nothing exciting, just scenery shots. In fact quite a few photos are exactly the same as pictures I've taken on previous trips. Anyways, link here:

beautiful pics, the brick that is painted with the flower on it is really pretty because of the anonymity of the display.

That pavement tile is on Zwanenburgwal on the other side of the canal opposite the Stopera if you want to see it for yourself.

Nice photos, thanks. It seems like alot of the early shots did not have many people. I was wondering if you planned it that way or if the euro exchange rate had made for less people?

There wasn't many tourists around to be honest. I went from Sunday until Friday, most people turn up over the weekend. I've always noticed March to be the quietest month in Amsterdam anyway. Pretty much all the restaurants and coffeeshops were empty in the evening.
Best time to visit Amsterdam if you want to avoid the tourist hordes, mid-week in March.
