Nice job with the video. Looks like you and yer mates had a great time.
Certainly put down the heineken like it was going out of style. Isn't drinking Heineken in the Netherlands sort of like drinking Budweiser in the States? With so many other options to chose from, I'd personally stay away from the local piss.

I've always liked Heineken, that's my excuse anyway. Will be going again soon can you recommend any other beer (other than Amstel) that you think we should try?

Here's a good site that you can check out for different types of pubs in Amsterdam with many types of beer/ales, etc. http://www.xs4all.nl/~patto1ro/index.htm
If you like Heineken, that's cool. I like a cold one on occasion too. It's certainly not the worst beer that the Netherlands produces, and actually it's become quite a seller here in the U.S.
I'm envious of the fact that you live so close to the Netherlands and can be there in 45 min. Have a great time on your next trip and if you get a chance, check out some of the more exotic brews and Belgian beers.

That photo was taken because we were getting annoyed by an American girl trying to get us on a bar crawl that was taking ages to organise. We ended up telling her we couldn't come because we were busy taking a picture of a dog turd we'd found. After this she left us alone so it obviously worked. Kinda regret not going on the crawl but they did leave us waiting around in Dam square for ages.
