Your $8.15/gallon just became $8.70 with today's new rate. I'm lucky to find gas for $3.30/gallon in and around Berkeley, CA.

Keep in mind, while I agree that we Americans have enjoyed gas prices way below the global average, our government has given us no choice but to drive and it's a big friggen country. Thanks Ike! (Amtrak feh!)
