Hey, I'm sitting in the Easyeverything place on Damrak right now! Had a good and easy flight (all of 50 minutes long!) and arrived safely yesterday. The weather is fantastic but the city is a mess construction wise , even worse than when I left last year. But the work has to be done I guess. Meeting up with Viking at the Siberie this evening (9pm Mokum time) so I'll try and remember to wave at the webcam
Doei
:-)

Yes,Deventer planned for Friday then a busy day on Saturday:Delft for the flea market then on to DH and then Scheveningen.I shall be exhausted ( I am already with this heat) but it's no good going home and wishing next week that I'd done those things. And of course it'sthe Jordaan festival this weekend so I want to be around for that
I've just back from a day that started with a few hours at the beach (Zandvoort) then back to Haarlem and then Zaandam for a quickshop
I think I shallbe glad to go home for a rest!

Hi uk*bag,
I know Deventer quite well because my son used to live there... unfortunately his house (squat) burned down and had to move. (Luckely he was well insured) He now lives in Arnhem with his girlfriend and they are both studying in Arnhem which is also a nice place. And my sister lives in Delft near the Grote Markt. Every now and then I visit William of Orange's mausoleum in the Grote Kerk, but i'm almost sure you have seen it already... I'm not especialy fond of the Scheveningen boulevard... Anyway dear lady, I hope you have a great time!
Looking forward to read your trip report and maybe some pictures...
Greetings Pete.

Yes,I've been to Delft many times but this will be a first trip to Deventer for me -I hope it's pleasant as it looks in all my books! Scheveningen is just for some nice seafood, eaten in the open air.
Thanks Pete
