Is it that dogs would be confused by the peanut butter, or were you just lucky that they weren't checking that day?

Peanut butter to help throw off the scent. Similar to using coffee beans or coffee grinds.

Whose scent do you think that you are "throwing off" this way? I have never seen a customs insprctor sniffing bags...If you think you are confusing a trained sniffer dog, well you just don't know one end of the dog from the other!

so would it be sheer luck that it was not caught?
It must be impossible to check everything because it would slow mail down to a complete halt.
I know how much it costs to train a sniffer dog, because I am friends with a cop. However I am not about to ask the cop if hiding bud in peanut butter will trick the dogs - call me crazy.

A method that I have heard that works is to buy dark hash chop it into small (coffee bean size) peices then buy 1/4 or 1/2 k of coffeebeans from Geels or Wills and Zonnen, step outside, mix in your hash then step back in and say "oh, I forgot, I am taking this coffee home with me, would you mind vacuum sealing it for me?" Trust me, the hardest part to this operation is sorting out all of the hash chunks from the beans (count them first, lol).

(not that I would ever do something like that, now way! it is against the law!)

I'm not even sure it works in doing so. I have heard that coffee DOES work in confusing dogs.

Secondly, you said "bags"........I'm not talking about my luggage. I'm talking about sending it in the mail.

All I know is between me, my friends, and one friends brother, over the past 3 years, a total of 10 packages have been sent. NONE have been lost. All 10 were received. Like I said, I don't know the process of screening packages, so it would be hard to devise a plan to get around it. This is just an idea that was passed down from someone else.

can we keep our dicks in our pants and these conversations to PM's? I'd hate to see a good thing be squandered by a bunch of bragging.

LOL

Are mushrooms any more or less subject to detection than herb? If I wanted to bring/send anything back, that's what it would be.

I brought some herb back following my first trip in 1990, but that was back in my don't-have-a-job-to-lose days.
