Madcap Adventures: Part 1.

Postby oracle » Thu Jun 01, 7:28 pm

Arrived in the Dam, a few years' ago, on a nice Sunday evening.
The place of residence, for my working week in Holland, was the IBIS City Centre Hotel.

As I had to get up early next morning, in order to be in Leuwarden, by 8.00 a.m., I decided to go and obtain some nice Temple Ball Hash and then returned to the hotel and to have an early night, reading the papers' and smoke the candy.

J. rolled, primed and ready. Lighter, flick....and then, an almighty explosion...... it must have been heard throughout the hotel...'Shit that is one, wicked Temple Ball.' I thought to myself.

Then I noticed the big hole in the duvet cover, which was still billowing out smoke.

Hmmm....By now, the gang from reception had arrived and I let them in.

A look of utter disbelief on their faces... with all the fire alarms going off......

I was totally confused as to what was going on....and to what had happened
'We shall move you to another room sir, which has a scenic view.'

As we were walking along the corridor, they kept on bursting out laughing and I kept thinking, 'Wot is wrong with these dildos? Why the merriment?'

It was only after being shown to my scenic room, which in fact was a view over the platforms' of Central station...that I looked in the mirror.....

My face was covered in a black ash, with just two white eyes staring back at me.

Did I go back and stay in this hotel again? You betcha I did!

Best,

Did you have a suicidal penguin bomber under your blanket?

Nah....I hadn't encountered them yet., Our meeting was due to take place several years' later, on an infamous day for myself, down in the depths of the forest.

However, it is rumoured that the Clangers do have suicidal tendencies, especially if there is an eskimo involved......?

Oh shit, here they are coming back home, flip flap, flip flap, 'food, food, more food. Where the bones, the herring bones'

'Oh, come on lads... leave me in peace just for one night.......'

(By the way, I never found my lighter either, lol.)

lol. The Penguins use the afro-sheen to shine up their beaks. Do you know if it comes in other colours' than pink, as they get a bit embarrassed
flip flapping down the canals, with pink beaks'?

Did you know that Budulike4, is going to buy them a roast ox, for lunch, when we met up later in the Dam, this year?

I needed this light-hearted post. Well, sort of tragic, but with the outcome being good now, it was one of the funniest stories I ever heard. You got to know they were trippin when they saw your face in the Hotel. And, the birds, I know what you mean, I feed them as well, and it is easy to draw a crowd, of birds that is.
Excellent Report Oracle,

JohnnyHempseed, I still have no idea as to what happened that afternoon.
I lost the lighter, the rest of the TempleBall and the hotel, lost a duvet.lol.
But at least I got to have the scenic view, which was cool if you
like trains and railway tracks'.

It's one of those, what the fuck happened, scenarios. Only in the Dam...
