22 strains in 22 days...

April 21 2006 6:25 p.m. DST (dam square time)
MARKET - Greenhouse
SECTOR - NY Diesel
SYMBOL - NYD
COMMENTS - absolutely beautiful aroma, both sweet and tart with an air of crisp citrus. The flavor upon inhale isn't very strong, but the exhale is a lovely melange of several flavors, perhaps coconut. Good strong head high; you might not realize you're stoned until you decide to do or say something and think to yourself: how long have I been sitting here completely motionless...two minutes or two hours?
RECOMMENDATION - Buy

22 strains in 22 days...

April 22 2006 12:10 p.m. DST
MARKET - Dampkring
SECTOR - Heavy Duty Fruity
SYMBOL - HDF
COMMENTS - Despite its name, I found it neither fruity nor heavy duty. The high is a nicely controllable slightly jumpy buzz. Not really much to brag about, but not bad either.
RECOMMENDATION - Hold

MARKET - Barney's Lounge
SECTOR - California Orange
SYMBOL - CAO
COMMENTS - I wouldn't call this a connoisseur strain; but it is a very nice sample of the common Orange Bud thats been around for years. Quite enjoyable and even a bit giggly (as opposed to jiggly). An excellent selection for novices.
RECOMMENDATION - Buy

MARKET - Wild Style
SECTOR - Santa Maria
SYMBOL - SAM
PPS - 7.
COMMENTS - Good acquisition for those wanting a general purpose puff without all the bells and whistles of fruity flavors or celebrity growers. Nice little nugs that break up easily in your fingers.
RECOMMENDATION - Buy

MARKET - Central
SECTOR - Black Bombay
SYMBOL - BLB
PPS - 7.50+/-
COMMENTS - A damn fine black! Strong, yet clear head; quite relaxing. Add this one to your portfolio, perhaps with a dr. dre or willie nelson long-term positve growth outlook (or something).
RECOMMENDATION - Strong Buy

MARKET - Nes
SECTOR - Grand Cru
SYMBOL - CRU
PPS - 11.
COMMENTS - Bottom of the barrel blonde with few redeeming qualities. An unfortunate and pricey acquisition from an otherwise top shelf shop. With the holiday coming up fast, the market seems to be a bit sluggish in terms of quality.
RECOMMENDATION - DUMP

I received this letter from Richard Feder of Fort Lee, New Jersey.

"I heard that in times of instability in the market it's best to leverage your portfolio and invest in government-issued bongs."

Now what I can't understand is how the government can issue bongs but they keep telling us not to use them. And what is so damn valuable about bongs that makes them worthwhile to invest in? I keep dropping the glass ones and they shatter all over the place and spill nasty bong water all over my beautiful red shag carpeting. What's the difference between a long-term bong and a short-term bong? I guess my glass ones are what I would call short-term bongs. If I don't get rid of them quickly, they're worthless and become a liability.

Bonds? Oh!!! Nevermind.

I better give credit to Gilda Radner for that.

Sure, give Gilda her props; but that version was damn funny. I miss the old snl. I would pay $$$ for the 75-80 seasons in entirety on dvd, too bad lorne will never let that happen.

Perhaps a Rosanne Rosannadanna weed strain someday, or maybe Conehead or Berry Berry Good. Ignorant Slut would be another good one...

What happened to the excellent Grand Cru at Nes? I was there in Feb and March and then the Cru was one of my top choices of blond hashes in Mokum.

i'm more than willing to admit that i'm no blonde afficionado; nevertheless, i didn't get much out of it...no kick, little taste, and difficult to smoke, (hard like granite, then shattering into sandlike granulars everywhere).

MARKET - Prix D'ami
SECTOR - Fishermans Friend
SYMBOL - FIF
PPS - 7.
COMMENTS - A favorite of mine for its distinct herbal cough drop/pine needle flavor. This particular batch is less pungent than in the past, but no less enjoyable. These are the type of buds that make you want to keep sticking your fingers in your nose to make the aroma linger in your head. Go ahead...linger longer on that finger, its just a little fishermans friend. People will just think its a booger.
RECOMMENDATION - Buy

MARKET - Green Place
SECTOR - Green Power
SYMBOL - GNP
PPS - 7
COMMENTS - I was wholeheartedly impressed by the look of these 10 inch killer buds. Zillions of fuzzy crystals jammed onto big leaves like glitter on glue. It was almost a shame to watch as it was picked apart to fit into a small bag. Although the aroma is quite nice, the flavor is rather unremarkable. Nice stone, but its bark its more impressive than its bite...

MARKET - Greenhouse
SECTOR - Kali Mist
SYMBOL - KLM
PPS - 8
COMMENTS - I was very pleased that supply finally caught up with demand, and the little "sold out" sticker was scratched off of the menu. Although the taste was a bit weak for this strain, the effects are quite stunning. Very nice to sit back and watch a WKRP in Cincinnati rerun and fantasize about Bailey, or perhaps Jennifer if that's your sort of thing.
RECOMMENDATION - Buy

MARKET - The Coin
SECTOR - Shiva
SYMBOL - SHI
PPS - 8
COMMENTS - Nice flavor, somehow tastes more like bubblegum than most bubblegum strains. Pleasant high; I strongly recommend putting on some Grateful Dead (perhaps something from 77-78). Slightly overpriced, but still attractive.
RECOMMENDATION - Hold/Buy

MARKET - Grey Area
SECTOR - C13
SYMBOL - MMM
PPS - 11
COMMENTS - Certainly a worthy consideration. Nice fresh flavor, good strong clear buzz without being too intense. Perhaps this is one of those issues that impresses the weed geeks under the microscope, but for a puffing fiend like me it just wasn't THAT impressive for the price.
RECOMMENDATION - Invest with Caution

MARKET - De Tweede Kamer
SECTOR - Power Plant
SYMBOL - PWP
PPS - 6.50
COMMENTS - An exceptional indica for the price! Makes your mouth feel crisp and cool after a deep ice-bong hit. A nice lingering stoney high that seems to last all day without putting you horizontal.
RECOMMENDATION - Strong Buy

MARKET - El Guapo
SECTOR - Power Plant
SYMBOL - PWP
PPS - 6
COMMENTS - I reviewed a sample earlier today by the same name, but there is actually little resemblence. The taste is ok at first, but then there's a dirty flavor, almost like an ashtray. Adding insult to injury, the high isn't nearly as nice or long-lasting as De Tweede Kamer's product.
RECOMMENDATION - Leave it for the maid

MARKET - Bluebird
SECTOR - Blue Cheese
SYMBOL - BLU
PPS - 8+/-
COMMENTS - Wonderful smell, both perfumy and flowery at the same time; the flavor is equally impressive. For me, this was definitely creeper weed, for the first fifteen minutes at least I felt no effect whatsoever. It does kick in after a little while, but not overwhelmingly. Definitely requires sunglasses or a dark room though. Some John Lee Hooker might be nice too.
RECOMMENDATION - BUY

Now this is a stock report, with excellent commentary!!!!!!!!
Too bad you can't see this on Wall Street, I'd suddenly take an intrest in the stock-market thingy, if such were the case.

MARKET - Kadinsky
SECTOR - Ice Cream
SYMBOL - ICR
PPS - 7.7
COMMENTS - Not a bad purchase in terms of P/B ratio (price to burnings ratio). Pleasant flavor, although the back of the throat does become a bit scorched; try chasing it with an icy cold pear looza. The buzz is nicely uplifting.
RECOMMENDATION - BUY
