Question
The pic titled "Wall", if this is the same place Im thinking of, I went back through there and came out in some amazing courtyard. Does anyone know what this place is? I didnt see many people back there or even venturing back through that entrance.

Felix, that wall is located in a little alley, somewhere around the Kalverstraat. I think it is closer to the Koninklijk Palace, than to the Spui. The picture was taken late at night, when we returned to our apartment. Sorry, but i can not be more specific about the exact location of that place.
Lazy Stones, the Kashmir Lounge is also one of my favourite shops. Really beautiful place. It is worth the bike or tram ride from the center. The decor is great, they sell beer, and they have a really nice chill out area (see my first pic).

No problem not recalling where it is exactly. The straat names you listed seem correct though. I was just aimlessly wandering around one day and stumbled across it. I took a pic of that entrance too but I must have deleted it.
Thanks

wall
That wall forms the present entrance leading to the Amsterdam Historical Museum. The buildings were once the city orphanage. Click on English and you'll see:
