What is the best way to get there? Is it worth the trip?

We caught a bus outside Centraal Station. It is a great way to spend a half or whole day.

That is the key for you, Bogart. In 2017 Keukenhof is open until May 21. The peak displays will be over but even in the final days of the season, it is still very enjoyable. Go there first available day.

I took one of the tours with a very nice bus years back. The business was right across from the Van Gogh museum. A little expensive but a little splurge on vacation never hurt anyone. The gardens are marvelous.

I've always found it cheaper and better to just hop on a train to Schiphol then get the bus....that way you can be there for as long or little time as you like.

Thanks for that. I actually bought a bunch of tulips today for my girl in anticipation for my trip.

I have in the past, old news now. But thanks. The other few can be found under the same username as the Keukenhoff vid.
