I tried this place a couple of years ago. Interesting food, and nice staff. I enjoyed my 30th birthday many years ago at a place called Sassafras at Prinsengracht and Leidsegracht. Good wine, food and times.

Cant go wrong with this sort of fare, given that this is Amsterdam. Along a similar line....picnic with bottle of red in Vondelpark. I will, however, continue to sing the praise of Thai Bird despite the quite recent shite lamination of their menu. Mid 90's dining was all and more.

My experience has been uneven at de kas.
Love the place and one or two courses will be knock out, but then another course will turn out questionable.

Still, with that said, I would not miss the opportunity to eat here
