Thanks for posting encore version of the Sherri series. I really enjoy reading these, almost as much as the first time you published them.

The best trip report postings ever, in my opinion.

I disagree with the whole "uplifting high" hype. Sativa will keep you sprawled on the couch just as good as any indica will. It's all power of suggestion. Nay, nay, nay my man. Blasphemy! Words of a heretic. Stone him! A*world* of difference with sativas, even for those sans an eclectic p...

Arrival Day: "Mind Your Step"

The words arriving at Schiphol Airport were sacred chantings greeting me on yet another pilrimage. They lifted my soul. The train to Central station, and by 7:30 am was sitting in Central Coffee shop burning my first dubie. After a few minutes of gawking out the window watching all the busses and st...

Re: Day 12 - Tim and Jay go home

We went to Barney’s ... We had a schedule to keep in order to ensure Tim and Jay got to the airport on time. For reasons I still do not understand, jack-ass James would not give us our check. Jay asked twice and I asked once over a 30 minute period. They were busy, I understand that, but why not ju...

Re: Day 2

We went and walked around the Jordaan a little and watched the sun come up. In the early morning hours, I think Amsterdam is the most beautiful place in the world. So peaceful, so quiet and yet so full of life. Nice report. Yes, indeed, nothing better than Amsterdam in the morning.... Dogbreath :-)

Yet another classic trip report in the "Sherrie" series, my all time favorite series. On that oude sailing ship.. in the captains quarters... your adventures with damsel Sherrie might be better described as a "Captain's Mast". :-) Jeez, wonder if damsel Sherrie will be in town for the 23 April gig.....

The Banks' "Sherrie" series are most excellent trip reports, some of the most enjoyable trip reports. They are my personal favorites. Classic. Pure classic trip reports. For my own personal selfish reading pleasure, I do hope Herr Banks and Ms. Sherrie take another trip to AMS again one day. Dogbrea...

A Saturday in Amsterdam

The day started early, waking well rested at 6:45 am. Poking my head out of the window, a nice clear morning. A fat yet decrepid pidgeon perched on a nearby windowsill gawks at me with surprise from across the alley. A Dutch breakfast at the hotel, then off into the early morning city. Morning. The ...

The Continuem: Merging Days

I had forgotten how nice Amsterdam can be in September. Pleasant days and evenings.. a long sleeve shirt or light jacket is all it takes. The city is still in summer mode, with all the sidewalk cafe tables set out, yet without the large summer crowds. Monday morning in Dam Square... a city slow to w...

Arrival Day: A Return to the Continuem

A quick last look back as we departed home.... the huge doghead of my rescued stray adoptee staring out of the window with that forlorn, dejected look... A kiss goodbye from Mrs. Dogbreath at the airport. Then on to Niewe Amsterdam on Jet Blue. Across the isle sat Earthwoman, wearing a favorite scen...

Nice reports... though much different than usual.
