Re: the Second Handful of My Amsterdam Days

After all the hot days the Jordaan neighborhood smelled like shit and piss. That heavy rain washed it all away. It really was the worst I have ever experienced there. We were in the middle and so disgusted we made a bee line for a more open area. Did you notice too?

[quote="Weldon"]I have to say that although Jamaica was nice, I found an angle to it that is a bit depressing. Rich, white tourists have the nice beaches and service while the natives have been pushed off. They are disadvantaged and many live in poverty]

Not nice.

All these years people have been whining about Amsterdam turning shit... seems it finally is? :( It's the end game innit. People could see it coming: it's been happening slowly, piece by piece. Twenty years ago, the squats are cleared and crinimalised. One day a coffee shop closes because it's 'too...

I do wonder what the cannabis world would look like had Harry J. Anslinger and Randolph Hurst not influenced it so heavily back in the 1930's. Modern Roots, you can grow 6 plants for personal use in Colorado. Your friends can grow 6 plants each on your property too. So far, collectives have not been...

To grow two acres would be very labor intensive. To grow a successful crop that large would require a huge labor pool. Just to plant thousands of clones that had to be grown indoors to start with. If you tried to grow from seed you would have a nightmare of a time trying to eliminate all the male pl...

Plants grown indoors range from 15 grams to maybe 150 grams average. Some growers choose to flower clones for a faster turn over and less chance of things going wrong. Plants have to be kept in vegetive mode for much longer to get more weight at harvest. So it's a trade off. Rarely do you see 1 poun...

A pound of weed takes a good clipper about 8 hours to trim and manicure properly. At 15 dollars an hour that is 120 dollars just to get it clipped. That is one day in the life of a pound. So I am not sure where your 25 comes from?

You can buy OZ's of poorly grown, immature, un-flushed weed here for 99 dollars all day long. If you want properly grown, flushed, cured weed that started with great genetics it will cost you 200 plus every time. Top quality cannot be grown in a warehouse. The good shit is done in small batches and ...
