DEARTH of POSTS....AN ALLTIME LOW?

Wow, it's just about a month since a post was made in the Politics section!

Is this a record for Channels? I would think so.

Sad, it's really sad.

Re: Circle in the Square 23-06-05

...walking hand-in-hand with the one I love, on the Leidseplein, barefoot on the bricks, with a quiet gait, ...there is no space, no time....... After closing down the WH on a Weds nite, a wonderfully gorgeous couple waltz toward home. With dirty feet, and a cobblestone street, they meander through...

I think the PM took a massive gamble which didn't pay off.

But I do think she did it for the right reasons.

Heaven knows what sort of Government and Leader we'll have now!

Re: MORE TERROR, MORE PAIN...

I think cops with less guns is a good idea but it wouldn't work in America. American cops refuse to engage in hand to hand combat because they're lazy and fat and it's to challenging for them to take perps on with their bare hands. They pull their weapon early now as it's easier and they don't want...

Re: MORE TERROR, MORE PAIN...

Guns breed guns. :-) This makes no sense Let's assume you have 5,000 police officers and I order 5,000 guns and hand them out. How do more guns suddenly appear in the communities? Theoretically, yes. But the criminals, the drug dealers, the terrorists already have guns and will only bring them out ...

Re: MORE TERROR, MORE PAIN...

Question for the Britts, I understand your street cops still don't carry a gun and an officer had to defend herself with nothing but a baton during this last round of violence. Do you think it's time for all police to carry a gun to protect citizens in today's world? I can't speak for all of course...

I took one of the tours with a very nice bus years back. The business was right across from the Van Gogh museum. A little expensive but a little splurge on vacation never hurt anyone. The gardens are marvelous. I've always found it cheaper and better to just hop on a train to Schiphol then get the ...
