Re: Closed

Closed again. No posts. This place is dead. Well there's little to say really. I've been taking the opportunity during lockdown here in the UK to go through my website to delete the dead links. It's very sad to see how many B&B's, shops and cafes have closed down. Very sad. I do hope the city r...

Re: Reopening

Should i remove Modern Roots ? Rather than removing MR how about opening the forum to some new members and perhaps we could garner better discourse? Seems like the folks you were most concerned about have since died. C'mon bas, some fresh blood! 23 guests in here this evening bas. C'mon 23 potentia...

Popping by Katsu in a minute. Need anything? Not for me thanks but I'd love something from a Febo machine! :-) The Ferdinand Bolstraat is one block over. We prefer our croquettes from Holtkamp. I'm sure that ANY croquettes sold in town are better than Febo... But just for old times sake I'd love to...

Jackie and I are sitting in the Katsu atm. Not a single tourist. It’s like a zombie apocalypse on the Albert Cuyp market. We’ve got plenty of weed to trade for goods so I’m feeling pretty good. Well everywhere is closed isn't it? The Rijks, Anne Frankhuis, Hortus...And I imagine there would be litt...

I have not been on here for a long time. Live in Spain in the winter now so only go to Amsterdam about once a year. I was using the Asoka forum and pop in to see Tak but have lost my connection. How nice to hear from you Nellie! Scotland in Summer and Spain in Winter? The best of both worlds, eh? :-)

Another implication of the deal signed is that it maintains thw GFA. The GFA allows that should a poll be called, the population of NI can take a vote to decide if they want a United Ireland. If there is a hard Brexit and the North goes to shit, a United Ireland is highly likely. A poll today showe...
