Re: Brown Bars

Just back from a week in Dam.
Apart from all the usual bars n brouwerij's I usually visit I thought I would introduce my old man to some new Brown Bars.
Café Papeneilend, De Doktor , The Pilsener Club , De Dries Flechjes and Café Brandon were all visited and I loved them all.
Check them out!

Re: Pot clubs Spain

From my friends experience I believe that you are best to register for a club a few weeks before you go.
They no longer allow people to just rock up on the day and become a member.

If Scotland and Northern Ireland are such a burden to the UK then why do the Tories fight so hard to retain the UK?

Nice to see the BBC misreporting the local elections and making out the Tories had a massive victory!
SNP or Greens in the General Election for me.

Re: SEATTLE

I visited Seattle and Tacoma two years ago but had no need to buy anything as the locals gave me it free cos they are among the nicest people I have ever met on my travels. I struggled to buy a round as they all insisted on paying my tab. I reciprocate this hospitality in Scotland to septics I meet.

De Bieaard remains a fine place to drink an hour or so away and I miss the La Chouffe already. Sounds like you had a really Cool Yule Mark. Did you know that Oddbins sell La Chouffe in bottles here in UK. Looking to pick up some McChouffe form the BeerKonnig(sp) while I'm in Dam on Feb. cheers LS
