Re: MAGA: Tired of All the Winning

From the ---Trump Organization For Truth 24/7 If Not All the Time: We could not have done it without you. We own all of this MAGA winning all of it to you'who made it possible. You know who you are , those that voted for Trump, those that never bothered to vote at all (the 40% of you) those that vot...

Re: Dinosaurs and Pigs

Well the good thing in all of this is that according to the bible, as read in Alabama, it's really OK for 32 yo men to strip , touch and play with 14 year old girls after picking them up after telling mom they will keep an eye on her while mom is inside the courthouse. And the best thing is that tho...

Re: Trump Speech to UN

I highly recommend the new Ken Burns special on Vietnam. 18 hours long 10 years in the making. What you will see is a war that unfolded because of a series of bad mistakes, misjudgments , mis readings, and most of all domestic political pressure. There was no plan. And several times different presid...

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen We Have a Dictator

Posting here? Looks to me like just 6-7 post here anymore. But there are 100s of members. And many like NYNY no doubt voted for the -----moron. This place was over run with right wingers not long ago. Moron----it's not my word. It's the secretary of state saying that. And then when asked several tim...

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen We Have a Dictator

Well they have nifty arm bans, nice shoes, anti Jewish slogans, and a hate for those that come from somewhere else.

And they proudly vote the exact same way nyny and several others here vote.

Only makes a few actual Nazi s though.

Fellow travelers at best for the rest.

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen We Have a Dictator

What's an euro Nazi apposed to the run of the mill American punk Nazi and fellow traveler? The Dutch gestapo, Hitler, concentration camps, Himmler, the German SS. At present we have nothing like that in the US. We have a bunch of well armed punks with arm bans, who hate Jews, liberals, moderates, th...

Re: Trump Speech to UN

That small time thrown out of office crook Nixon did end the war finally after years in office. He also back stabbed the SVN by not honoring our agreements to supply and support them and gave the NVA free reign to slaughter and roll over our allies. Then it was only after he was thrown out of office...

Re: Ladies and Gentlemen We Have a Dictator

I agree with NYNY , American Nazis are small time minor leaguers compared to their ideal role model the Euro Nazi. Sure they wear the same arm bands and chant the same anti Jewish chants and have many of the same goals and world views. But for the most part they are just tough talking small time Naz...

Every major international policy guy JFK had became Johnsons international policy guys and they were all veterans of WW2 and they delivered The Vietnam War.

FDR was never a vet and he did a great job.

Nixon was a vet and he was Nixon.

Re: Trump Speech to UN

What's the big deal? The folks like nyny that voted for trump are getting exactly what they voted for. Why is anyone surprised at his presidency so far? OK the Kermlin may have buyers regret. They are not getting their money's worth OK he is a lot dumber and clueless than I thought he would be. But ...

Re: How friggin clueless and dumb can he be?

Keep an eye out over the coming months to see if the right , quietly, start to lead the dump trump in an effort to see a true conservative like Pence as the president. If their agenda is in the toilet because of this trump nonsense they may start to dream of a new day and a new leader-----one who co...

How friggin clueless and dumb can he be?

All he had to do was keep his mouth shut, let the FBI and comey do their thing. Just stfu. Unless they found a smoking gun with trump taking Putins money or getting secret messages from his Russian handlers the worst that would happen is a few of his guys get charged, some might go to jail, and trum...

Re: Coffeeshop Questions

Fewer coffeeshops Even in Janurary the ones I was in were crowded and unplesant. Unplesant unless massive crowds are your thing. A line out into the street at the grey area, or being unable to find a seat at Barneys, or a very crowded Dampkring says one thing. A constant line waiting to get in at Sm...

Re: Amsterdam in August

In fact for last August I found a five star for someone----$83 usd a night. About 75 euros? With luck you can also be in a decent two star with no lift, no a/c, and steep stars for just a little more.

Re: Amsterdam in August

Expensive? Only if you dont know how to do it. I have seen five stars for right at or under or just slightly above $100 usd in August. Four stars as well. Good ones.

August can be very inexpensive at least as far as 4-5 star hotels.

In fact I can be in a 4-5 star cheaper than a 2 star in August.

Assuming there is not more than one Hammer floating around these Amsterdam forums I believe our paths crossed very recently somewhere else.

I think it may have been a hotel question?

I was told that Bong might actually be George Clooney posting under a screen name.

Can I assume this is not correct?

I have been busy and active giving out worthless info about Amsterdam on another travel related forum.

The dry season? What I remember is temps that hit 100 degrees F and kept on going and going and going. I heard 130F but never believed it. But I know there were a lot of days above 110F. Maybe in that 120 range at times? An ugly humid hot. It was heat that felt like it could melt your skin off. We p...

I thought....this is going to be a disappointment. Spending time with people I did not know....and might not even like.

Boy was I wrong.

Watch out for those cabs...a PSA....

I was walking back to my hotel near the marriott from the general direction of the Dam fairly late on a weeknight. I got to an intersection...not much traffic...wet streets....and there was a crosswalk in front of me...but no traffic light. It was interesting to me that the cab (with a middle easter...
