A short report on our visit from the 3rd to the 7th May. We arrived into Central Station at 12.15 after an uneventful flight and started the walk in glorious sunshine to our City Mundo apt ( L10618). The Jordaan is also made up of many crappy dumps. I would defy anyone to define for example, the Willemstraat, Gou...

We did an Amsterdam/Paris split holiday and after Paris I could not wait to get back to Amsterdam. The noise, the crowds, the rude buggers and the money going nowhere. Pat, my partner, keeps trying to suggest we go back with thoughts like "well it took us a while to get to know Amsterdam" True but a...

Your reports

Hi dannymac, do not worry about your writing or comparing it to any others. Each trip report is a gem to all of us, something I feel sure that LastHamlet and Banks would agree with. As a fellow Acacia brown boat resident I am loving your reports and looking forward to the next instalment.
